Marvel Sewer and Drain

Problems with the main sewer line are the last thing we wanted to deal with. We're so glad we trusted Marvel to do the work (installed a liner in our main sewer line). They didn't disappoint! Ben and his staff are knowledgable, skilled, and professional. Based on the quality of their product and work, their communication throughout the process, as well as pricing, I believe this business cares about their long-term reputation. They're doing exactly what it takes to make loyal customers and a solid fan base. Shout out to David - you're awesome!

Ben was on-time and it was easy to schedule time with him. He was efficient in working and made an effort to clean up after himself. He explained what he thought the problems were to me in plain English and showed me problems where he could. He is the only service personnel who has wiped down all surfaces he used with anti-bacterial wipes to avoid any contamination. Overall, we had a good experience and I would use Marvel again.

Marvel worked within our schedule (which was ASAP) and got it done. Was really respectful of our house by putting on protective shoe coverings and taking care to get his equipment into the basement. Twenty minutes later and we were relieved to know we could wash clothes again. He was able to take a credit card on the spot too which was really handy. We had the service done a couple weeks ago (I wanted to wait to review to make sure we didn't have any issues-and we've been good!)

Ben is reasonably priced, always punctual, a good communicator and always has done the job right. I can't recommend him more highly. Moreover, he saved us thousands of dollars with his innovative main sewer pipe patch repair service. As far as I know, he's the only one in Minneapolis that can repair a pipe without digging up the yard. We received three other bids from reputable contractors. The repairs he did for $3700 were going to cost at least $7500 PLUS repairs to the landscaping and concrete that would have needed to be dug up to do the work. And if we had used any of those contractors, the plumbing would not be usable for 24 hours. Instead, Ben installed a liquid patch that hardened in exactly the right spots in only 6 hours! He also supplied video of the work so we could inspect the end result. It looks great. We couldn't be happier.

We were apprehensive to have preventive work done, because the last person three years ago made a huge mess, so we were not looking forward to repeating.  Sensing that it was needing to be done, and after meeting Ben through a referral, and liking his personality and professionalism, we decided to get the work done.  Judging by the amount and size of roots that he pulled out, the timing was right.  I never know sewer cleaning could be so exciting- He knows what he is doing, and goes to great trouble to not leave a mess behind.  I highly recommend Marvel Sewer and Drain.

Ben was punctual, courteous, and did a good job.  Since I've run into issues about every two years with roots invading the main drain, I'm going to do this every other fall.  And Ben provides a small discount for scheduled maintenance, rather than the emergency job needing immediate work.

I manage several rental properties.  Our tenants expect a high level of service and owners expect a reasonable cost. Marvel is very responsive and they do a great job.

I made a call directly to Marvel Sewer and instead of having to deal with some answering service or machine, I was talking directly with the plumber himself. That is such a relief to me instead of feeling like I'm just "another customer". Ben, the owner/plumber, had just finished up with a job and was able to make it to our house in twenty minutes (it actually ended up being 15 minutes instead). He had given us an estimate over the phone but warned that things can happen (obviously).
He arrived with the necessary equipment and a friendly attitude and made sure to take care of wearing protective gear so as not to get our house dirty. We showed him the culprit, the drain that was backing up whenever we used our washing machine/basement shower. He brought the snake equipment down to the main line and ***well, I don't want to get graphic here, but found out what was clogging the pipe and removed the issue***. He then brought his camera down and let us watch on a high def screen the now cleared drain. (Which I have to admit was pretty cool).
With the camera, which he said wasn't necessary and we insisted on for peace of mind, the total was $352.50. However, without it, the total would have been $192.50.
We will definitely use again (and after a month later, we haven't had to).
