When the spring rod broke the door was stuck in an open position. PGDS came out within 2 hours and got the door closed for me. They came back a few days later (due to my schedule) and replaced the bearings. My garage door and track hardware are quite old (40 - 70 years) and replacement hardware is no longer available. Any time I have a problem with the door the repair crew tell me if anything happens to the hardware it’s all over and I will have to replace the whole works. But I am quite fond of the old solid wood door and reluctant to replace it. Steve recognized and appreciated the custom aspects of the door, like hand planing, and agreed we should try to save it. He took some time to think through the problem and created a couple different custom bearing brackets to try. In the end he prevailed and the old door lives for another day!! It has been a week and all is working well. I really appreciated Steve’s willingness to be creative and his thoughtfulness in planning out different options to try when he returned. He was excellent! I would recommend PGDS to others and definitely will call them again myself.

We worked with Steve and Ken a couple of times over the years to repair our garage door opener, but it finally needed replacing. Ken was quick - 45 minutes start to finish. Steve was responsive when I had questions on the job and pricing. We had the Liftmaster Premium 8365-267 installed.

After calling a few other local companies, Premium Garage Door Service, not only gave us the best quote, but was able to come out just two days later to install our opener. We would have had to wait at least a couple of weeks if we used anyone else. Very happy with the prompt and quality service we received. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They were very fast and came out in 10 minutes after I called. They had a cheerful attitude and they fixed it very quickly.

Premium garage provide a helpful quote over the phone. They did the job for that exact price within just a few days of my call. The results were great. Only issue is that the person doing the work showed up earlier than our scheduled time. Since I wasn't home he left and came back about an hour after our agreed upon time. He still got everything done in a timely fashion.

On Saturday morning I opened the garage door with the Hatch up on my car. The lock cable caught on the hatch and twisted the garage door off of it's track. I called Monday morning to request service, They stated they could be there about 9 am. The repair was fairly quick (less than an hour) and not too expensive. I would call them again.

Garage door spring broke on a Friday afternoon. Called Steve and he offered to come out on Saturday morning. Steve arrived on time, was very friendly, and repaired the broken spring in no time. Once the spring had been replaced, he also offered to install a metal support brace I had as an extra but hadn't had time to install yet. Steve installed it and did not even charge me for it.

Called Steve and he was able to come out later that same day, which was a Sunday. He came over and evaluated the problem. Needed a new opener. Old one was 20 years old so not surprised. We were not in a hurry and told him that he could do the work during the week. He said that cold weather was coming in and the week would be a busy one, so he preferred to just get it done. Because we weren't in a hurry he asked if we minded if he run to another job and get someone out who was stuck in their garage and then he'd be back to do the work on ours. We thought...and quot;What a kind person!and quot; That could be a mom with little kids or an older person, etc. We were just fine with that. Steve did return as promised within a couple of hours and went to work on installing a new opener for us. We were pleased with Steve as a person and the excellent work he did for us!

We discovered that we had a broken spring at 3pm and called a few companies on Angie's list. We found this company was willing to repair the springs in the evening, and at the same price others were quoting to complete the repair tomorrow. Steve was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and he got the work done within a half hour. It's 8:30pm and our door is back in working order. We give Steve and Premier Garage Door Service our highest recommendations.

When leaving for work, discovered garage door wouldn't stay closed. When I tried to close it, it eventually got stick in a half closed position and wasn't able to close it manually. We contacted a few other service providers and Steve's company had the best price and was available to com out the same day to make the repair.

Steve showed up on time (and within an hour's notice) and fixed the problem quickly. While he was here, we asked him about a keypad that wasn't working and he fixed that as well at no additional cost.

I highly recommend Steve's company to others. He was on time, professional, responsive and he didn't charge more than his quote.

I thought they were a very good company to go with. They were on time and they provided me with wonderful service. I also really enjoyed the service man that came out. He was very informative and easy to work with. He made some suggestions for the future and seemed very knowledgeable.

The spring broke on our double garage door and slammed the heavy door to the ground, ripping the center support off the wall and breaking one hinge. I called over lunch and Steve was able to get to there less than an hour after the call and fixed it immediately. The bottom section of the door was slightly damage when the spring caused the door to fall. Steve assured me, "It's not too bad and it still seals at the bottom just fine. If it doesn't bother you, don't replace it, because that can be another $245." I appreciated Steve's quickness, honesty, willingness to save me some money and great pricing.

They offer very good option to me and fix the garage.Now it is lot more stronger than when it was new.My house is only 3 years old and the new one was not very strong enough.

The installers arrived within the time frame given and were done and out in about 2 hours. They were well organized and very experienced with 30 years between them. Their cleanup afterward was very thorough. The door looked great with the insulated windows and the premium belt-drive opener was very smooth and quiet in operation.

It went well, punctual and profesional service. I felt that I got a good value. I am not sure of the price as it has been a while since I had the work done.
