It was fine.  We have used them for a number of years because it worked out okay and we have no complaints about them.  The staff is professional and knowledgeable. 

The ducts were cleaned.  I did notice after they left that their big hose had scratched my wooden floor.

Their price was very competitive and in keeping with what everybody else charges.  We have only had somebody do that once before and we were not really convinced that any of that is necessary.  My wife thought that it was a good idea but personally we have not notice any different either time we have done it.  They showed up on time, and the guys who came were real nice and polite.  They made an effort to keep things tidy and clean.  They did the dryer vent for free because we have never had the fire place cleaned and they know that and they did a good job on that.  We are kind of a skeptic when it comes to dryer vents.  Over all they did a good job.  They are as good as anybody else.

Process went well, would be happy to work with them again.

I actually used a Blind Squirrel coupon for this (chimney sweep) service.  Appointment making was easy!  (I even had to call and change the time at the last minute and they were very friendly about it)  The 2 service gentlmen arrived on time and the work was performed very quickly.  Estimates and billing was accurate and professional!  The cleaned up after service was complete.

The person arrived on time and got right to work. He asked if it was okay to wear shoes in, which it was since my carpets were getting cleaned the next day anyway.

He set up his equipment to minimize a mess and got to it. While he was cleaning the chimney he did ask if would like my dryer vent cleaned out as well. And offered a discounted price since he was already there. I declined and there was no further discussion on it.

He did notice a small area in my fireplace where the brick was deteriorating and gave me a recommendation on what to do to fix the problem. He also offered to fix it as well if I didn't want to fix it myself. Once again, i declined and nothing else was mentioned. He did tell me where I could purchase the refractory cement and how to do it as well.

Once he was finished he cleaned up his equipment and left no mess at all.

I felt like they did a nice job, but when they called me back to do it the next year I told them I was too busy to talk on the phone and that they could contact me by email. In response they said they could send me something via snail mail and I said I didn't want in that way, They said, in effect, that they had no way to do that and so I guess they didn't want my business. When they worked for me they did a nice job and did what they said they would do. The price seemed to be reasonable. I feel like the customer service person I spoke with is pretty poor.   

We ordered duct cleaning and dryer cleaning (for $150), but while they were here, they noticed how dirty the Van-EE filter was, showed it to us, and offered to clean it for an additional $50.00. We took them up on that, and when they said the dryer insides needed to be cleaned as well as the ducts outside, we didn't want to do that, so we had them do that for $25.00 as well.

This company was excellent, they came out right away which I wanted. Their prices were competitive and they did not joke around, they came out and got the job done right away.

Their prices were half of what another company was, and the receptionist was really nice over the phone. Their services were really good. It did what it said the cleaning would do, and I have kids with asthma and it was easier to breathe in the house.

I called on Wednesday and asked for an appointment for the following Friday. Was told that I would be first on their list on Friday and to expect the technician between 8 and 8:30 AM. Two men showed up right at 8 AM, cleaned the flue of the chimney, vacuumed around the outside of the fireplace. They showed us a couple of places on our dryer to keep an eye on for lint buildup (apparently dryer fires are the cause of most home fires), and were out of here in thirty minutes. Very nice work; we took their card so we can call them again.

They were thorough, and the owner came in addition to his assistant. They were friendly. Plus he did a minor fix to the vent of an appliance that was outside the scope of his work.

They did a great job, I had just moved into my house that was built in 1947. When I took the register covers off to pain, I found that the ducts were full of cob webs. All Star was able to come out the next day. Three men came out and it took them over an hour to clean everything. They said that my ducts were the worst they had seen, and that they had never been cleaned. The ducts were so bad that it sounded as if they were vacuuming up sand from the system. They system worked great after that, and the house smelled much cleaner.

I hired All Star to clean the ducts at my uncle's house, which hadn't been cleaned for quite a while. The crew arrived on time and went straight to work. They did an admirable job, and charged less than estimated. My complaint is this: In mid-Sept., I scheduled an appt. for the afternoon of 10/3. The time estimate they gave was between 1-4pm. On 10/2 (the day before!), they called and asked if it was OK to switch to 8-9 am. I said no, since it's difficult for me to get to the house during rush hour. The response was that they simply couldn't do the job in the afternoon. In other words, they weren't asking, they were telling me I had to reschedule. So even though I had set aside an entire afternoon, on short notice I had to rearrange my whole day. While I understand the need for All Star to plan efficient routes, for themselves, they should understand that appointments made should be kept. They do great work, but I'd say if your schedule isn't flexible, beware.

It was excellent, I received a $50 discount off the regular price and I even had to reschedule once due to a conflict. The rep. I spoke to was very nice and set up the new time without complaint. The owner and another employee did my entire house in about 45 minutes 2000 sq. feet plus unfinished basement. They were both very nice and gave me several tips on maintaining things. Such as my air filter was pretty black and he asked if I burn a lot of candles and yes I DID. He explained that overtime the soot from the candle can destroy a house wall, carpet etc. We no longer burn candles and use the plug-ins instead. There were other tips, but overall an excellent experience and I would use them again.

I was very impressed by the professional manner of the two work men that were sent out. They answered all my questions and I did not feel pressured to get ''extra'' work done just because they were suggesting it. They explained why they thought something should be done, gave me the price and time it would take and also let me make the decision. They were right about the dryer needing to be cleaned. My clothes are drying in about 1/2 the time now that the vent is cleaned out! I highly recommend this company!!

Very excellent service. I called three days before service, and they accommodated my request for the date. They called before coming over. They were very efficient and explained everything they were doing. The furnace never looked so good!

Overall, good work. They were able to schedule work very quickly. The crew was prompt, and the office provided a courtesy call when the crew was dispatched. They were very quick in completing the job.

On time, very polite and helpful and reasonable price. I would recommend them anytime. Very clean job. In and out with no hassles.

CALLED TO SAY THEY WERE ON THE WAY AS PROMISED, CAME ON TIME. MY CAT HAD ESCAPED HER CARRIER, THEY HELPED ME CATCH HER.

TWO GUYS SHOWED UP 15 MINUTES AFTER THEY CALLED. SET UP IMMEDIATELY AND WITHIN 20-25 MINUTES THEY WERE DONE. THEY TOLD ME THE DUCTS HADN'T BEEN DONE FOR A FEW YEARS. THE AIR FILTER THEY PULLED OUT AFTER THEY WERE DONE WAS QUITE FILTHY. I ASKED ABOUT MY WATER HEATER AND HE SAID IT WOULDN'T NEED TO BE DONE FOR A COUPLE YEARS. SO, EVEN THOUGH THEY COULD HAVE ADDED TO THEIR BILL, THEY DIDN'T DO ANY UNNECESSARY WORK. HE ALSO GAVE ME A TIP ON HOW TO KEEP MY AIR CONDITIONER CLEAN. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY AND WILL DEFINITELY HIRE AGAIN. PROMPT, EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, AND NICE PEOPLE.

I FELT LIKE IT WAS A BAIT AND SWITCH SITUATION. WE WERE TOLD OVER THE PHONE THAT WE SHOULD NEED THE NON BRUSHING TECHNIQUE BECAUSE OF THE SIZE OF THE HOUSE. WHEN THEY CAME IN BEFORE EVEN TAKING A LOOK AT ANYTHING THEY TOLD US WE DID NEED THE POWER BRUSH METHOD. I DO FEEL LIKE WE CHOSE THE BETTER METHOD BUT I FELT LIKE THE PERSON ANSWERING THE PHONE SHOULD NOT HAVE TOLD US UP FRONT THAT WE DEFINITELY DIDN'T NEED THE MORE EXPENSIVE BRUSH METHOD. THE TECHNICIANS WERE VERY NICE BUT I FELT THEY WERE A LITTLE TOO FAMILIAR.

KNOWLEDGEABLE, POLITE TECHNICIANS. SHOWED UP ON SCHEDULE AND COMPLETED WORK NEATLY.

THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT! THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, THEY WERE VERY POLITE, AND MADE SUGGESTIONS ABOUT WAYS TO IMPROVE THE FUNCTION OF OUR FIREPLACE AND FURNACE. THEY ALSO RECONNECTED PART OF OUR DRYER VENT THAT WAS DISCONNECTED FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE! I WILL USE THEM AGAIN.
