AG Blinds

We had worked with Tim at AG Blinds previously, and things went well the first go-around. We paid him a large-ish sum of money, and he delivered. There were even a couple of manufacturing flaws, and he went back to the manufacturer and had new blinds send immediately. He also honored a Crowd Cut (or Groupon or something) coupon. We got good value and good service.
So, we decided to go back with a second order. But this time, Tim took our order, said he would charge us a portion at the time of the order and a portion at the time the blinds were delivered. He charged our card for the full amount about 10 days later, then fell off the grid completely. I couldn't get in touch with him for months and months, despite phone calls, emails, and text messages every so often. When I did finally hear from him (briefly, by text), he informed me that he "shut his business down," and that he would send me a refund or get the blinds delivered to me.
He didn't. I continued in efforts to follow up, but he had gone "dark" again. I still haven't heard a word from him.
In fact, in trying to find him and get a refund (or the blinds, for Pete's sake! I just want some blinds!!!), I learned that the manufacturer (Hunter Douglas) had terminated its business relationship with him 3 months before he "sold" us the blinds. It would have been impossible for him to fill the order in September 2014 with Hunter Douglas because they had ceased doing business with him.
Honestly, I hate to over-react, but that's fraud. He's a liar, a cheat, and a thief.
And, in case it wasn't clear by now, I wouldn't recommend working with him to anyone, ever, for any reason at all (obviously).

Tim was excellent when it came to helping me pick the right color and type of shade for each room. I encountered a problem with one of the Lite-Rise mechanisms and Tim made sure that Hunter Douglas replaced the mechanism so that it would work properly. He made sure that each shade was level and worked correctly.
