Description of Work: Contract for removing carpeting in living room, dining room, bathroom, remove tile in kitchen and steps to basement. Install vynel tiles to kitchen, dinning, bathroom, and steps.

Description of Work: I presented a list of measurements of 12 windows ... I wanted to order Levolor blinds. After the sales representative imputed all the information, I offered to pay for the window coverings. I was told that the installer would have to remeasure the windows and would call me at the begging of the week before the sale ended. No call. During this time, my husband's brother unexpectedly died. The sale ended on Wednesday.. And, I left on Thursday on a trip to Utah for a funeral. I called the store on Thursday morning and left a message in the window covering department expressing my displeasure in not receiving a a call and asked the manager to call me on my cell. No calls were received on the cell phone. When we returned to Minnesota there were many messages on the home phone. My husband and I drove to Home Depot in Ferguson Falls. The manager, on duty, told us that they would honor the contact. The installer came out and said he kept getting someone in Duluth when they called my cell number. At this point it behooved Home Depot to refer to the contract where the number was correctly entered. I, then, received a call from Home Depot...the sales representative told me that they could not honor the contract and would I consider ordering a different style of window covering. Good grief... Why would I want to order something I did not want?.. And, have to live with it for years? Needless to say, I was not able to order the window treatments that I wanted, had a contract on, for the price I was quoted.
