Doug Rowe came out within 1 day of me calling him for an estimate. I originally asked for a quote just on the smaller set of steps and removing the existing landscaping rock, but his quote was so much less than the other firm I had contacted, I asked him to give me an estimate on another (much needed) set of steps for the backyard, and was able to have both jobs done for about the same price as the other firm's quote on the front work alone. I was a little nervous, since there had been such a big discrepancy in the quotes, that the work might not be the highest quality. I had no reason to worry: the results far exceeded my expectations. Doug and his team were able to begin work the following week, and completed the job in about 2.5 days. They worked so carefully, they didn't even disturb an adjacent bed of tulips that were in full bloom at the time. They also cleaned up the site after they were finished, you would never have known they had been there, except for the much improved look of the place! The landscape looks absolutely beautiful, I couldn't be happier with it. I will definitely be looking to have Doug and his team back to perform future work for me, and I wanted to recommend there work to all the rest of the Angie's List community. I didn't find them on the list before, but they DEFINITELY belong here!
