Everything was top notch! There was very little dust, and the floors are incredible.

In 2013, I had Matt install hardwood flooring on the main level of my home. I hired him again in 2014 to remove the carpet and install hardwood flooring in the living room and upper hallway.
Matt is a great guy to work with. Wonderful communication, does what he says he is going to do when he says he is going to do it. And the price is exactly what he says it is going to be.
I am very happy with Matt and his work. And I love my floors! 

Matt is just wonderful. He was referred to me by a friend. I got bids from him and another Angie's List provider. I chose Matt over the other provider because (a) he was doing the work himself rather than subbing the work out to others (I like to know who is in my house); (b) his bid was less than the other provider's (the other provider immediately knocked $1000 off his bid when I asked if he could do any movement on the bid, which made me think he had way overbid it in the first place); and (c) I liked Matt when I met him and I felt I could trust him in my house. 
Matt did a great job. He arrived when he said he would, the job took as long as he said it would, he cleaned up after himself, was pleasant and respectful, charged what he said he would, and did a beautiful job. He did the work himself, which I really liked. One day he had another person working with him, and he told me about it in advance so I would know. I liked that he did that; it made me trust him. He was also kind to my dog and let her hang around, which goes a long way with me. 
Matt had to remove nasty ceramic tile in the foyer, carpet in the dining room, and linoleum in the kitchen. He offered to let me do part of the work if I wanted to, so as to reduce the cost to me. , He replaced it with a beautiful stained maple wood floor. Matt had brought several samples of wood to the house, and discussed pricing and look and options before I selected the product - I knew exactly what I was getting. He also suggested that I update the look of the space by replacing my old baseboards with a taller baseboard, and installing quarter round trim. I purchased the baseboard and trim (Matt measured and told me exactly how much to buy) and stained and sealed it myself. Matt installed it for me. He also suggested replacing the wood trim around doors which looked dated; again, he measured the areas and told me exactly what to purchase. I did so, stained and sealed it, and Matt installed it. 
A few months after finishing the floors, I hired Matt to install two patio doors in my home. I purchased the doors separately, and Matt and a helper installed them in one day. As with the trim, I stained and finished the doors to save money. Matt was very helpful in making recommendations and providing the precise measurements for me of the doors that I needed to purchase. 
I was and am thrilled with the job that Matt did, and would recommend him without hesitation. I feel that he went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with the job; he obviously takes pride in his work. Justifiably so - Matt does great work at a reasonable price, and knows his business. 
*Please note that the price above is just an estimate - I don't recall the precise amount I paid. I paid Matt for both the wood flooring product (which he delivered to my home), and his labor. I paid him a separate amount for installation of the two patio doors. 

Matt was extremely helpful in working with us, providing insight, samples and suggestions on every aspect of the work he performed on the project. The personalized service I received was fantastic, he truly treated the house, surroundings, and project like it was his own home. His communication was to always keep us up to date on the progress, and always showed up on time and when he said he would be here. He was very clean and organized and never left a mess.
