While the end product was satisfactory, the communication on when the work would be done was sporadic. The crews showed up twice without notice.

Great people - very professional. They charged a fair wage and made us feel like we were a priority. I definitely will go to these guys again.

They have always delivered prompt and courteous service. Any problems have been taken care of immediately. Scott is always available day or night. Crest is the only one I call.

It went fantastic. I would highly recommend them and I was highly satisfied with the work. They were very prompt in communicating with me and responses.

If you don't hire Crest to do the work that you need to have done, you deserve what you get. While they did use subcontractors to perform many of the tasks that were done, they appear to have found people that work quickly and with a high degree of craftsmanship. They were respectful of the areas where they worked and completed the job within the thie estimated. Can't wait to work with them again.(The work was completed in the spring of 2016. Last contact was to request a review.)

It worked out excellent. They were very professional and friendly. Their work was of utmost high quality. They had excellent communication to let me know when they would arrive and how long they will be there. They were willing to listen to me as a homeowner and giving me options on the different repairs and explaining what they recommended as well. They were willing to tackle unexpected problems that were not present at first. I am going to keep a file on them and call them first whenever I need any home repairs.

Exceptional quality and installation!! Crest Exteriors did what they were contracted to do in a timely matter. We are very happy with the finished products. We've received many compliments from neighbors and friends. The crews were skilled and professional. They cleaned up at the end of each work day and when each project was completed. Crest Ext were VERY responsive; they were out the next day after my call.
I originally had only called them to replace the missing piece of siding, and asked in passing what might be wrong with my bowed piece of siding and what it might cost to have it fixed. The guy grabbed a few tools from his truck and fixed it right there; no extra charge. This was at the end of the day when I'm sure he was looking forward to getting home.
I very much appreciated how Crest Ext deals with customers and would 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Crest Exteriors pretty much did a bait-and-switch service. The company was hired to perform an inspection and make any minor repairs on our townhouse roof. During their so-called "inspection," the employees who were sent left shingles hanging off our roof that weren't hanging off before. We called them back to ask them to fix the damage they caused. None of these workers spoke English. When asked who they worked, for they replied they didn't know. When asked who hired them, they didn't know. When asked why they were there, they really didn't know. We finally paid them $250 just so they would never come back and cause any more damage.

Crest did an excellent job! They quickly performed the services requested and the quality of work was superior. I will hire them for additional projects in the future.

Everything was done professionally and to my specifications. Very personal service. I would use this company again and highly recommend.

The project went well.  The best thing is the timeliness of getting the work done.  By the time we agreed to the quote the project was pretty much done in a week.  They were great in working with our situation since it was both a warranty claim on the shingles and hail damage on the siding.  Dropped up multiple samples of shingles so we could pick a color we liked.

Great especially working around Minnesota spring weather. There was no surprises such as addon etc. This was a homeowner insurance claim and Scott worked well with the agent. I waited 6 weeks to send this review as I am cautious and no problems discovered after the fact. Scott was professional, explained what would occur and I would recommend Crest Exteriors highly. Also Scott provided Insurance coverage information and lien waivers that I requested.

Scott and Ty were great to work with throughout the project. They handled the meeting with our insurance adjuster and made sure that any damage from the hail was pointed out and repaired. They handled all of the paperwork for our insurance claim and answered all of our questions.

The quality of the work and the speed in which it was completed was terrific. The work was completed in two days .The crew really worked well together and did a fantastic job .There was not a nail or a piece of debris to be found around the house or a single plant or shrub damaged.

We would use Crest Exteriors again if the need ever arises.

The estimator came to our house and listened to what we wanted done and made a few suggestions of his own, Then he went through and carefully measured everything. Two days later he emailed us his estimate. He also mailed us a paper copy of the bid.
We had 4 companies come in to give us a quote and Crest came in the lowest. We have had Crest do other remodeling for us so we knew that they would do quality work for a reasonable cost. They let us know when they would start. They were there everyday Monday thru Friday. They were very friendly and helpful. They gave us suggestions on where to go to get reasonably priced tile for the bathroom and brought us carpet swatches for the colors we were looking for in the bedroom. There were a couple of days when they had to let areas dry before they could continue. They always let us know if they were not going to be working. Generally they would try to schedule to if one room had to dry for a day they would switch to working on the other room. They always cleaned up and when they were finished we didn't find even so much as 1 nail left behind. If we do any more work on our house, we will use Crest Exteriors. They have always given us quality workmanship for a reasonable cost.

They came and did the deck first, and we were really pleased with the job. We had a graduation party that weekend and wanted to make sure nothing bad happened. They came and did all of the gutters the next day. Of course it rained like crazy on the party day, so we checked the gutters out, and the one on the back of the garage leaked. I called Scott, and they came out right away and fixed the problem. The gutters on the back of the house did just what we'd hoped, by keeping the rain from splashing up on our back doors. They did a really good job overall and we would recommend them to family and friends. Scott is really nice to work with, and the gutters are working really good tonight for sure since we are having yet another big rain storm. Thanks Scott!

We called Crest after reading reviews on Angies List.  We had already called three other siding places.  One didn't call back at all, one called back but then never followed through and one gave us an estimate. 
Scott Hurm, the sales rep for Crest, called back right away and set up a meeting at our home that was within a few days.  It had to be after his regular work hours and he was there on time.  He had brochures, pieces of siding and a book of color choices, all of which he left with us.  He was able to give us a very detailed estimate, all within a few days of our meeting.  His estimate, including taking down the old siding, haul away and replacing some old patio doors, was well below the other company's bid and in the ballpark of where we thought the job cost should be.  We signed a contract with Scott.  I lost our copy and when I told him that, the next day I had an email with a new copy. 
Scott kept us informed as to when the crew would start.  He kept us informed about the patio door order, which was a special order.  The crew was able to start at the beginning of October, about three weeks after we signed the contract.  This was fine with me, because my flowers were in full Fall bloom and I didn't want them trampled.  Even when the crew started, they were very careful about our plants and shrubs. 
Wade was our crew leader.  He and his crew, mostly made up of his brother's and dad, were so polite and kept us informed of when they would arrive and when they left for the day.  When we had any issues, such as questions about if something would be trimmed back or when we noticed they missed a piece of trim around a door, they IMMEDIATELY addressed those concerns.  They came into the house to replace the patio door and were worried about dirtying the carpet.  All of the guys were nice to my moose sized dog, who can be intimidating at times!
The work was done within three weeks.  Everything was cleaned up and tidy, each day.  The crew completed the punch list in an extremely timely manner.  Scott was involved every step of the way.  Neighbors have commented about the quality and appearance of our home.
If you want an absolutely great experience, from start to finish, go with Crest!

Scott was my main contact person, although I ended up working with almost everyone at Crest at some point. I was a little worried about Crest being able to handle such a large job, but they came through with in the end with flying colors. In my experience, communication was excellent. I had Scott's email and cell number and he would answer his phone at any time of the day. As I said, Crest performed a lot of different house-related jobs for me...and they always got done when they said they would (even if it meant working late into the night or demanding a sub-contractor come in on the weekend to finish the job -- which is what happened with my siding and the stones along the front-bottom of the house for example). Scott and the rest of the team were also always willing to come back out and make something better if I felt something was wrong (or even had questions). These are the type of qualities that give me confidence in recommending Crest to my friends and family.

Mike was great always available and they came when promised and got the job done in one day. I will defintely use them again and they left our yard spotless. Great job

We used Crest Exteriors because they were recommended as a "preferred" vendor by our home owner insurance company. I'm not sure how they are on exterior work, but were simply a general contractor for our indoor work. Their quality is strictly dependent on whoever they find to contract the work, and we are very disappointed with the quality of work, communication, and the overall experience. Crest avoided verbal communication and mainly corresponded via email. We always made the initial contact to figure out who was coming and when. The painters painted our dining room, but didn't treat or cover up the water stain, which is why they were there in the first place. In addition, when the painter came to cover the stain, he didn't have a ladder and proceeded to use our built-in as a stool (not cool). They did not skim-coat the ceiling and to this day, there are tape marks and screws showing. They did not take care of our cove molding (although didn't break any, so that was good) and I ended up hiring another contractor to make things look good.

We had a water pipe break in new house. our plumber called out Crest to do the water extraction. They took several hours to respond. the three people that showed up were very courteous and seemed to know that they were doing. They pulled up the carpets and removed all wet padding underneath. they placed fans under the carpeting and had a couple of dehumidifiers running. However, they did not vacuum the rugs and left the carpeting soaked with water. I called another company the next morning. When the other company arrived, they pointed out that the fans were placed wrong, the water was not sucked out of the carpets, they put no spray down to prevent mold growth. When I called Crest to come back for their fans and that I was going with another company, they did not even ask why. It was almost like they expected it. I have not received the bill, I expect that the plumber will be charged. Therefore I have no idea how to rate the pricing.

It was very fast. They kept it very clean the whole time. It took them only one day to do the work. I am very pleased with the results. The roof looks very nice. My insurance is covering the cost.
