We are very happy with the results. Bob clearly explained how the project would go and explained options. He took the time to fully understand what our goals were with the project.

Bob and his team did a fantastic job on removing and installing a new paver patio for us. Bob was great to work with, he made sure we had the information we needed to make the best selection on the pavers for us. Bob gave us a schedule and stuck to it as the weather would permit. The work area was left clean after the work day was over and his team was very courteous. The patio looks great and I will definitely recommend Carlson Hardscape to our friends and neighbors.

Friendly service and overall happy with the work. Was disappointed that 10-12 of the pavers used were significantly scuffed/water stained.

We contacted Bob regarding the construction of a patio.  Bob was very knowledgeable and easy to work with regarding the design and selection of materials available to us.  Once everything was finalized Bob and his crew showed up and began the work and completed the job in three working days.  Pretty good considering the amount of work that needed to be done. 

During the whole process Bob did everything he said he would do and was very easy to work with.  We have had the patio for about a week now and have many compliments from surrounding neighbors / visitors.  Should any other similar type of job need to be done I would definitely call him again.

Bob and crew did a great job.  The patio had sunk next to the house allowing water to come in.  Bob changed the grade and laid the pavers in a new an improved pattern.  Love the look of the new patio and rain is now running away from the house.

Mr Carlson was impressive!  He took his time to explain each step of the process, he even patiently answered my most ignorant questions.  He appeared to be very meticulous and detail oriented in his work.  The patio is beautiful!

They completed it on time and it looks lovely.

Bob was very responsive throughout the process of estimating, scheduling and performing the job.  He was knowledgeable about the work to be done and his bid was competitive.  He rearranged his schedule to accommodate my needs and get the job done before winter set in.  He and John did an excellent job and left the site very clean.  The pavers look very nice--you'd never know they'd been taken up and re-laid--and the edging is greatly improved.  Bob was also meticulous in assuring proper water drainage.  I'd certainly hire him again.

I was taking advantage of the 'Big Deal', $450 for a Paver patio.   Bob Carlson came over and gave me an estimate of how much it would be to replace the brick area that was next to the garage in my back yard.   I also asked him for an esitmate if I were to have that extended to the steps of my deck.  He brought a booklet with paver styles and colors so I could choose what I liked best.  I told him I would have to think about it before I decided on which plan I wanted to go with.  He patiently waited several weeks before I made up my mind.  I appreciated that he gave me time and didn't bug me.  They came on July 25th and working.  They had the patio finished the next day.   They came back to fill in around the edges with fresh black dirt so I could reseed that area with grass.    Bob Carlson was always a nice guy and very easy going as was his assistant.  They did a great job.  The patio looks great and I have received numerous compliments on it. Definitely worth it.

The project looks great.  We'd definitely recommend him to others and ask him to do other work for us, if needed.

We purchased a deal on a paver patio through Angie's List. Bob came out to our house, offered great suggestions specific to our space and designed a patio that was just what we were looking for. He didn't try to "up sell" us on the offer, but instead worked within the parameters of the offer to meet our needs. The project itself went smoothly, everything was handled professionally, and the final product looks great.

First of all, I assumed and I'm hoping, this is my first experience with Angie's List, since I did not have anyone in my peer or influence that could recommend a company, so based on reputation or past work, that's why I went to Angie's List and thought out 2 ideas and decided to do the pavers just based on my own preferences and when I contacted them, they responded came out and very agreeable, very helpful, explained my priorities and were just really willing to work with what's important to me. They've been very responsive. Initial impression, both my husband and myself and that was the first time alone and then the second time he came back with a quote and with some discussion if what we're going to do, my husband was here and he felt the same way, that he felt that he appears to be a man of his word and integrity, he explained and we don't know how long we'll be going to be in this house so this is something that needs to be done at the same time if we were 10 years younger and thought that we would be here a longer time, we would take a little different approach and cost was important and he was able to give suggestions and provide ideas that met the goal on how we want the project to be completed. So far so good and if not, we will certainly not hesitate to register a complaint.

When I originally called, it went to voicemail.  He returned the call promptly.  We talked about the project that we wanted to have done at our lake home. Unfortunately, he does not service that area.  He did provide give a general quote of what I would be looking at for the work.  He has a very professional demeanor.

Bob was excellent to work with from the first contact to completion of the project.  He consulted with us throughout the installation process to make sure our wishes were being met.  His work was meticulous and the outcome more than met our expectations.  We would not hesitate to use Carlson Hardscape again for future projects and, in fact, plan to do so.

Carlson Hardscape, Inc. (Bob Carlson) had a deal on Angie?s list for a discount on 100 sq. ft. of patio so I purchased the deal and paid $450 to Angie?s list for the project.  Bob Carlson called quickly and set up a time for a project estimate within the week and showed up on time.  He listened to my needs and requests and within a couple days sent me an email with the estimate.  I sent the signed estimate to Bob to get the project scheduled and he gave me an approximate time of last week in May to first week in June.  Despite lots of rain, and I am sure other project delays, Bob called to set up a day in the first week of June to do the job.  He and 2 others showed up promptly, worked hard and got the job done that day.  The work was all in an enclosed patio area so the digging and removal of existing blocks and dirt had to be done manually.  Bob and the crew were pleasant and asked for my clarification on details of what I wanted.  They paid attention to detail.  I LOVE the new patio pavers and it looks fantastic and should last for years.  I am very happy with the outcome and the quality of work and would recommend them for any paver block projects. 
My one suggestion is to make it clear with Bob if the estimate has already deducted the payment made to Angie?s list or if it is the
cost estimate before the payment.  I did not understand the estimate and the job cost me $450 more than I had expected.  I do not think it was a deception at all but a miscommunication.

Sue Carlson does what she does because she loves it.  She takes great care in the plan development, keeping your personal thoughts and issues in mind at all times.
 Would we use Sue again?  Yes!  She is a treasure to work with, has a great knowledge of the planning, design and selection of plantings.
