I'm not telling anyone who has worked with Steve and Nick anything new.  It was a great experience!.  They were quick to get us an estimate (didn't have to call them five times).  The cost of their services was more than reasonable and we didn't have to pay any money down.  They showed up on the job exactly when they said they would (to the minute) and finished when they said they would.  Both Steve and Nick were on the job working right along side of their hard working, friendly and professional crew.  Great care was taken to make sure that there was no property damage and the clean up was better than I would ever have expected!  I would highly recommend Bormann Brothers and, though I hope it never happens, I would go back to Steve and Nick for any roofing needs.

First they provided a very competitive price.  One of the brother's was on the roof all day along with a large crew.  He personally did much of the complex work.  They were very tidy and efficient.  Clean up was perfect, no damage to the yard/plants (which were covered). I spoke with the guy that delivered the shingles (a different company).  He said I was lucky, that BBr were the best crew he'd seen. That all the folks in the office had used BBr's for their roofs.  Note he was delivering to 3 other non BBr sites that day. Steve was very responsive to my questions through out the bidding and roof selection process.  He dealt directly with the insurance company for me.  After finding them on Angie's list I found out my neighbors had used them as well.  My neighbor had only positive things to say as well

Just excellent! They replaced the whole roof in one day!  The crew cleaned up the yard after and everyone was very polite and professional.  I would highly recommend them.

From start to finish Bormann Bros. Contracting was excellent. 

Steve Bormann provided a detailed proposal that was the exception to other roofers giving just the final cost.  Steve answered our questions and got us on their work schedule quickly.

On the day of the job Steve and Nick Bormann were here with their crew and equipment ready to go at the start time.  At least one of the brothers was here for the whole job but more often both.  Their crew was hard working and courteous.  Clean up was complete. Steve was the last to leave checking with us that everything was good ? and it was.

We are very happy with our new roof.  Steve and Nick Bormann will be the first we consider for our next house project and recommend to those we know for their projects.

Possibly the most seamless process I've ever experienced with a contractor.  Called them up, got a call back. They came, looked at roof (we didn't need to be there), asked a couple of questions, dropped off the quote the next day.  After going through the arduous process of getting other quotes (from vendors who wanted to meet with us in person, go over a million options, come back out again, etc. etc.) we found that Bormann Bros. price was competitive as well.  So the choice was easy.  They even accommodated our need to have the roof done ASAP due to some scheduled painting.   They came out on the scheduled day, tore off and replaced the roof by that afternoon.  And it looks great.  Easy.  Done.

I needed a replacement roof and after meeting with several contractors I selected Steve Bormann's company for the work.  Steve was not the least expensive, but he was not the most expensive either.  His bid was very competitive, closer to the middle range of bids.
What set him apart was the quality of the product he uses, and the confidence he gave me that he would be there after the work was performed.  It was important to my selection process that the contractor would provide service after the sale.
 There are always issues after a job, no matter how professional the contractor is.  And Steve gave me the best impression that he would be there. 
Steve had introduced his crew chief to me.  I watched the work in progress and the crew chief was there, patient with me as I asked questions.  The workers were very organized and efficient.
I had a relatively new concrete driveway and as promised, Steve's crew did their work in such a way that my driveway did not sustain any damage.
I did have a couple questions after the work was completed, and Steve did prove true to his word.  He responded to my email inquiry and he showed up as promised.  He listened to my questions and he climbed up on the roof to see for himself, and he explained everything I asked about, all to my satisfaction.
Mine was an insurance claim and Steve completed his work within the parameters established by the adjuster.
I am in the process of preparing my house for sale and I can transfer the warranty to the new owners, a definite plus for me as the seller.
I have recommended Bormann Brothers Contracting to others who asked me who did my roof, and I will continue to do so in the future.

It went awesome. It’s all covered by insurance and not a pocket expense that hurts. It’s a family owned business. Their professionalism is good. We’ve used them in the past on different house that we used to live in to redo the roof. They have a good price. The price was very reasonable. The quality is darn good. They go above and beyond with a lot other contractors. They’re very responsive. They’re on time.

He came out, gave us a bid at that time. He showed up when he said he was going to. He had a very professional crew. They got the job done very quickly and really efficiently. Because the ground was frozen, they came back when the snow was gone and got all the nails up, if they couldn't get the nails up because of the snow. We have no issues them at all. We got another bid and he was lower than this person and he was right where the insurance company said he should be so I think it was right on the mark, the other guy was high.

They are fair and professional. They do not take on more than they can handle. They do not try to bleed more money out of the insurnace company. They are excellent to work with and have provided me with other excellent references for painters, etc.

They were really great to work with and were very reasonable.  I could tell attention to detail was important to them, and they communicated really well and went the extra mile.  I felt really grateful for hiring them for the job.

Very fast. They did 40 sq and were done by noon.

As they did 5 years ago, they arrived on time, protected my lawn and delicate plants and picked up all trash and nails from the roof repair. I was particularly concerned about my perennial hibiscus, which had already taken a beating during the hail storm. I asked them to be careful around it. Later, I saw that Steve Bormann built a protective tent around it with lawn chairs and plastic tarp. 
It was raining and much later than expected by the time they finished. Yet, they stopped to ask where I wanted my flower pots. I'd moved my MANY pots away from the house and deck and had expected to put them back myself. However, the crew INSISTED that they would put them all back where they belonged.

Excellent.  Very professional.  Showed up when they said.  Worked quickly.  Our plants were NOT impacted and we have a lot of plants!  Have only found 10 stray nails.  Couldn't ask for a better job.

The Bormanns are a couple of Minnesota raised farm boys that are ethical, honest, hardworking, and fair.  
They show up with a big  crew that never stops moving and in a matter of a few hours they are gone.  Complete professionals.  We own a handful of single family houses and have tried different roofers over the last 25 years.  They don't sub it out like the salesmen disguised as roofer that we never saw again on our first roof.  Every time I looked at least one of the Bormann's was on the roof.  No hidden fees, no garbage fees, none of that.  They have done seven roofs for us in the last 15 years and the price is always what they quote.

Everything went perfectly.  They showed up early in the morning setting up tarps everywhere.  They had the whole tearoff done in a couple of hours. The roof was complete before 1 PM.  Wow, that was fast.  It was nice to see the owners working with the roofers.

They have been following up with my insurance company very closely. They made it a very easy process for me. They crew and the clean up were immaculate.

They were fast.  They got here at 6:00 in the morning and had the roof tore off by 7:30.  Everything was cleaned up and gone by 1:00 P.M. and they laid 40+ squares.  They had a crew of 9 guys and they wanted to get out of here before it got hot.

They were very good. They were the best roofers that I had. I had others roofers come and do the roofing work but the leak was still there but they came and fixed that. I would refer them and I have referred them to others. I would use them in the future.
