Mr. Weise responded to my second phone message and promptly scheduled a visit to estimate the cost of the job on a Sat. morning. He came on time and told me how he would do the project. I got an email estimate from him the next day. The estimate was very detailed about what he would do in spite of the fact that this was a pretty small job. He scheduled the job within a week of my accepting the contract and came as scheduled. He consulted with me a couple of times while he was working to be sure I was aware and agreeable to what he was doing. He and a co-worker removed the old concrete with sledge hammers (the old fashioned way). The finished sidewalk looked very good and he patched a couple of places in a window well he hadn't included in our first discussion. He removed all debris, and was careful of the neighbor's lawn which abuts this sidewalk. He was friendly and professional at all times; answered the questions I had; and explained carefully what he was doing throughout.
Description of Work: The sidewalk immediately adjacent to the north wall of the house was slanting more and more toward the house, creating a potential water leaking problem. There were also some holes in the two concrete window wells on this side that needed patching.

We made an appointment by phone to get an estimate. He came on time and explained what he thought needed to happen. (We needed the sidewalk to slope away from the house to prevent water from coming in.) He agreed that it would be better to patch the window wells than replace them. He emailed his estimate (which was specific about what he would do) on the day he said he would and contacted me a week later to schedule the work. He was very willing to answer questions about how he would do the work, including the regulations about cement disposal. He was friendly and professional at all times. He and a helper came on the scheduled day, removed the old concrete with sledge hammers and set up for the pour. He consulted me a couple of times to be sure we agreed on what he was doing. He discovered that the whole top of the window wells was loose and we agreed about how he would deal with that. He was able to finish that day, but came by the next morning to remove the frames and spade some dirt up to the edge of the sidewalk. The project was clean at all times. The sidewalk slants properly and looks very good.
Description of Work: Tom Weise removed an old sidewalk, 25 feet long and poured a new one. He also patched two window wells.
