 + -1 moreHis work looks wonderful. He has a day job so he normally does it evenings and weekends. So it does take just a bit longer, but it is the most beautiful work I've seen. His cleanup was a little sloppy.
Description of Work: He did some brick and stonework on the front of my garage.

 + -1 moreThe project went mostly very well, and I am very happy with the results. He returned my call the same day and was out that same evening to provide a quote of $1,200. We scheduled the job for 2 weeks later. One glitch: He called me the night prior to the job and said it would cost an extra $150 because prices has gone up for cement and because there was an extra charge for a small load that couldn't be combined with a larger load. I agreed over the phone, but when he showed up I told him that I had thought about it a little more and that I didn't appreciate the surprise and that he should know his business and the costs to do business. We then agreed to split the $150 cost, which made the project $1,275. I then wrote him a check for $1,300 as I was very pleased with the outcome and quality of work. While I didn't get any other quotes, I believe he was several hundred dollars lower than others (comparing to the prices I have seen on mailings I have received thru the mail).
Description of Work: Remove asphalt and install cement apron on 3-stall driveway. Remove 1 section of cement sidewalk that is right next to the driveway and install cement with the driveway apron, providing a pitch for the water to run off. Remove brick (about 1 foot of a 4 foot facade on garage) and remortor. Tuckpoint a couple of other bricks on another brick facade.

Description of Work: The brick facade on three columns of our 10-year-old home had deteriorated and were crumbling and breaking off. Brent tore off the brick and replaced it with new, much higher quality brick facade. He also repair our cobblestone pavers on our front step.
