· Toe kick very rough and not sanded properly
· Toe kick not built properly
· Concern of lack of communication regarding the height of drawers in middle of vanity
· Unfinished shelves for medicine chest, which includes slices in some of the shelves
· Non-painted edges for shelves in vanity
When we retained you ($1,200 material deposit) we were led to believe that we would receive a vanity and medicine chest that would be made of the highest quality, with integrity, and done professionally. None of this happened. Furthermore, the vanity and medicine chest that were installed did NOT include doors and self-closing hinges, drawers and self-closing slides, all part of the material deposit we gave the contractor (if you can him that). Due to all of these concerns and the length of time it took for Zirkler to produce the vanity and medicine chest, we requested removal of the cabinets from our home and a refund of $1,200 (one thousand, two hundred dollars), in cash.
Zirkler did NOT work with us whatsover on refunding any money, clearly violating the contract that he wrote. Zirkler reported that his time was worth something, which we totally disagreed with his comment. The end product produced was not even junior high shop class quality. Zirkler should be embarrassed for the "work" he did.
