Nathan and his crew are knowledgeable, friendly and skilled. I’ve had NSA cut down some major trees on my property these past few years. They’ve also done a lot of trimming of trees for me. Nathan can really read a tree and figure out what’s best for it both aesthetically and health wise. He’s also good at coming up with a schedule for project completion, planning ahead to do parts of the project over time to spread out the cost. I highly recommend NSA. After hearing about Hoag Family Tree on NextDoor, I reached out to Bill Hoag about a large tree removal from my hard-to-reach backyard. He immediately put me in touch with his business partner Nathan with Northern Sky Arborists. I couldn't have been happier with the job that Nathan and his crew did. It required a large crane to reach over my house and remove, long story short, it took a little longer than expected, but they did it in one day, performed an outstanding job and at very reasonable price I might add. Would definitely recommend Nathan and will definitely reach back out for any future tree services I might need.

The team was amazing. They worked quickly and left as little mess as possible, give the enormous size of the tree (80 feet?) and miles of tap roots they removed. They never damaged a leaf on the surrounding flower gardens. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat, and in fact they are coming back to prune my maple in the back yard.

Nathan from Northern Sky Arboriculture removed a tree and stump from our backyard. Nathan was a pleasure to work with from the start. He was quick to respond to our request for a bid. His proposal was very reasonable and clearly and professionally communicated via email. He came out to do the job about a week later. His team was neat, thorough and careful of the rest of our yard/home. You’d never know we once had a tree there now! I highly recommend working with Nathan if you have need of tree and stump removal. Nathan and crew are very knowledgeable and careful. 2 of the trees were on a hill . They used the right equipment to ensure safety. Nathan said he would not work on any tree with nesting birds (Owls, woodpeckers nest in late winter..) until the young have fledged! Another time I had him cut some large dead branches above a garden. Very pleased with the work.
