Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services

Basement floor drain was backing up, so I could not use the washer or kitchen sink... not very convenient. Naturally I wanted this problem taken care of as soon as possible. I got on the phone and checked rates and availability of area plumbers. Rates were higher than I expected (as usual) and everyone seemed to be booked up. One of the plumbers I called suggested Mike and Roto-Rooter. I had called there previously, but got an answering machine and didn't think this was a sign I could have my drain cleaned that day. This time I left a message, and Mike soon called back. Even though he had several jobs lined up for the day, he made time to drive out to my place - about 11 miles out of his way - then waived the extra distance fee, as "he was in town anyway". I would have gladly paid it just to get someone out! Didn't take him long at all - the drain was soon running freely and all was cleaned up... and best of all, the fee was 1/3 to 1/2 of what I had been quoted by other places. Mike was friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to call him to help me in the future.
