BRANDAU PLUMBING & HEATING

Just a short note to express our sincere “Thank You” for work performed on July 17th, 2020. Our family had arranged a birthday celebration for grandma’s 68th birthday. After a summer rearranging plans for graduations, marriages, and birthdays due to the covid virus, we made a date to meet at the cabin to celebrate. Two days before her birthday, we discovered the damage. Upon hearing of family needs, Brandau Plumbing rearranged work orders to assign master plumber Jeremiah to trouble shoot, repair, and return to service, both the pump and water heater. Exceptional response during these disruptive pandemic days. We are grateful. John Lane family

Called Brandau when heat (boiler) was out over the holidays--again. This has been going on since construction in ~2006. This time a pump was out. That was clear cut. Then I asked them to evaluate why our heating system with Tekmar electronic controls installed by Rusco Plumbing was unreliable. They couldn't figure it out, but recommended that no one in area could fix Tekmar. Tekmar refused to talk with us and insisted we deal with the installer, Rusco Plumbing. Jeremiah recommended we remove the Tekmar control and go to a simpler boiler control. He came back with an electrician from Brown Electric and fixed the heating system. Seems the Tekmar controls were never hooked up by Cunningham Electric.
  I'm not sure I got a bill for when they came out with the electrician to coordinate heating and electrical with the boiler fix of removing Tekmar.
  They came out over the holiday when we had no heat. They returned to remove the Tekmar controls as promised when we were out of town. They respond quickly and come when they promise. In Ely MN that is a gift.
