Spectacular Concrete & Landscaping

Jeremiah was referred from an acquaintance and based on his company facebook page of projects he had completed I figured we had nothing to lose. It became clear very quickly after we accepted his bid and he picked up the downpayment that things were not going to go well.  After being a no show on 2 separate occasions I became worried that he had just taken the money to never return. A simple phone call to let me know his schedule had changed or something came up is just good business practice in my eyes, but this did not occur.  I had to make several calls over a 3 day period before he finally returned my call.  When he finally showed up to perform the work, we were out of town. Upon returning home, we found the driveway to be a mess of dirt and concrete along with concrete splatter along the siding of the house.  I questioned the discoloration in the concrete and he assured me that this was normal and would go away upon sealing.  He has since sealed the concrete and it looks 10 times worse.  He refuses to return phone calls promptly if at all and doesn't seem to care about the quality of his work. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't accept this work if someone came to his house and put in the same sidewalk.  I will now have to pay double what I had intended just to get it fixed by someone else as he seems unwilling to work with us. I should have gone with someone else despite the cost.  He was unreliable, irresponsible and I would not reccommend him.
