PJB Construction

This is a revised report submitted earlier. Hired P.J.B(Paul) to reroof. Knew him for a few years. From start to finish was ten business days. Paul would show up sporadically, once he didn't show for three days til I called him to find out what was going on.....busy with other jobs...! Paul did install 2 more vents & some kind of gutter guard which to date still isn't finished...not that I want him to. He would show late afternoon & work into the night wearing a headlight, never asking us if it bothered our evenings. We didn't complain, once he started we wanted the job done! A leak developed along the chimney where the new flashing did not cover the edge of the shingles as it should. Paul blamed the leak on 2 lame reasons.. a saggy roof(?) he just reroofed... cracked chimney..no cracks. After alot of phone tag Paul was finally able to set a date to repair the leak. No call, no show for four days. Now the BBB and Angies list is involved. Suddenly Paul wants to set things right. He comes over, does a crappy looking repair that I only agreed to so my roof hopefully wouldn't leak & then says I slandered him in my reports to theBBB & Angies list. Hire again? Recommend? Not gonna happen!!!!!!!
