We had a great experience with Justin and his crew. Initially we contacted him to replace some 65yr old windows, and he was the only contractor to bring to our attention that we had hail damage on the window wraps, siding, gutters, and roof. His experience really helped us thru the insurance claim process and it ended up being a huge cost savings for us. We were so impressed with his customer service, we decided to have him convert our 1-season porch into a 3-season porch, install tile flooring, replace some doors, and paint the interior and exterior of our home. He listened to our ideas, gave us options and suggestions, and helped create solutions for all of the projects. He's like a fiduciary for home improvement and we relied on his expertise to make some great choices to improve our home.

Justin and his crew have been amazing to work with every step of the way. 0ur roof was damaged in a storm last summer and we put it off until this year to have it looked at. Justin was extremely responsive and timely in coming to look at it, met with the insurance agent on extremely short notice, and was highly knowledgeable in helping us to understand the insurance process. He and his project manager, Darrin, were always available to answer questions and help us with samples and decisions. While they helped us understand every step, we never felt pushed or talked down to. The communication both ways was always very quick and polite. The entire team that worked on our property was obviously very skilled and took pride in their work. They took extra steps and time to make sure that gardens and landscaping surrounding the house was carefully protected during the tear-off process. That being said, they did work very quickly! At the end of each day, they carefully cleaned up the work area. Based on our many interactions with JJ Home Services, we booked him for several other projects around the house (siding, bathroom remodel, door and window install). He has assembled a great team, and we really appreciate the working relationships we've seen that have been established with all of them.

Justin did an awesome job of evaluating a black mold issue. His knowledge on the subject matter is unparalleled and I would highly recommend him!

I worked with Justin last year on doing some roof repairs. We planned to do a new roof this year. Pleased with the roof. Workers were great. Price was great. I would definitely work with this company again.

Justin did a good job in putting back our vinyl siding. He arrived on time, is pleasant spoken, and was quickly able to complete the job. I would request Justin's help again if other work come up in the future.

Due to a family emergency, my husband and I decided to sell our house this year. We asked Justin to come over and walk through the house with us and give his opinion on things that should be done before putting it up for sale. He gave us a reasonable quote, and let us decide what we wanted him to do, and what we thought we could tackle ourselves. He knew our goal, and wanted to make sure we got what we wanted and were satisfied. Justin and his crew painted the main living areas of the inside of the house (walls and ceiling), remodeled the main floor bathroom, fixed and repainted some siding around the house, and poured a cement apron and re-sealed the driveway. He was always in contact with us on the progress of the projects (as we had already moved out). If we had questions or concerns, he would respond quickly. As many times as we contacted him, he was always very nice and professional.

Justin and his crew were fantastic. No issues at all. We ended up changing the tile, nearly mid-job because Justin wanted us to, "love it." He gave his professional opinion and he was right on with shape, color and style of backsplash. We should've started with his thoughts and saved us all time and hassle. He too facilitated returning special order tile we bought outside of his recommendations. We had delays due to COVID19 and tile orders, but he still checked in and got the job done as expected. The workmanship was perfect. We too like supporting our military veterans. After asking him about some of his experiences, he's one of many vets we'll happily support!.Highly recommended.

6/02/20 About JJ HOME SERVICES, LLC Justin's Non English Speaking crew were mostly left alone by Justin unsupervised at times.The guys were very nice but we could not understand each other very well so our lack of communications was not the best. I went out of my way to help them. I even set up my large home air compressor and made adaptions for them to use. I furnished all materials that they gave me a list for too. It was getting cold plus snow and many delays before he started project. He claimed to be done and did NOT tar the joining between house roof and deck roof. He did not and would not install the metal flashing between roofs as required. He promised to come back when better weather and complete the Metal Flashing. I called and texted him several times and all I ever got was delays, no responses and then started argument that he had told me that flashing needed to be a special size so I had the correct metal ready to go but he refused to fix it. When it rains I have a STEADY POUR of water runnibg between the two roofs and right on my head if I open my patio door. I had a Professional look at the job when the weather FINALLY got good enough. We found that he had splice in small pieces of sheathing where the two roofs meet and now it sags and has formed a dip in the area where water can lay and exposed nails are out in the open at the roofs joining. Just tiny dabs of tar put on nails and no tar at the meeting of roofs nor any flashing to ward of water. My man also said the separate leak in the middle of the roof was due to too short of lapping of the water proofing membrane. I thing he should have even double covered because I was left with enough membrane to do 2 more roofs so there was not a shortage of material. I had also planned for FULL or LARGER pieces of sheathing to be used and especially at the top where my two roofs butted together for extra strength. Instead, his crew splice smaller pieces all over the place and I even had to give him a sheet of Exterior Plywood that I had for another project so he could finish the job and still I was left with many large pieces of wasted material due to very poor planning of layout by Justin and his 2-man crew. NOTE: I grew up working with my father who ran a Lumber-Hardware and Construction Business in North Dakota. I personally built many Houses and Farm Buildings so I did a LOT of Roofing too. I am 71-years old and with poor knees so this is the ONLY reason that I hired Justin in the first place. The pro that I had look at my roof last week told me that this was the WORST ROOF JOB he had ever seen. He could not believe someone just left it unfinshed and claimed it was done right. He would recommend to tear off the whole shingles and redo the sheathing, membrane and install proper flashing plus sealing everything properly. Since ANGIES LIST recommended JJ HOME SERVICES and I always trusted Angies name is why I took a chance with this guy. I paid JJ cash trusting that he would honor his promise to me to come back but has not, I hold your company partially at fault and need satisfaction. I have looked into taking this all to the Courts but am always willing to compromise but I don't think I could ever trust Justin to do a Good Job anymore. The quality of the work was excellent. The cost was exactly what he said it would be (the electrician was a little more than expected but that was due to the age of the house and extra rewiring needed), he completed the work in the timeframe he gave us and was professional throughout despite having to work through the COVID19 stay at home order.

I was really happy with Justin and his team. For me this was a big job and involved a lot of money and a lot of moving parts. The ceiling texturing had been poorly done so removal was not as simple as scraping popcorn ceilings. The house had many different dark colored walls so the painting over them was not a simple task either. Justin is very meticulous and thorough and his crew is polite and determined to get everything just right. I can recommend them without any hesitation whatsoever.

He told me what materials I needed and I sent him a picture when I was ready. I have sent him multiple pictures and emails. I have called him and left numerous text messages but he does not respond. He has scheduled to come out and doesn't show up even though he picked a date. I have tried a month to get him out and I am concerned about hiring him for this project now.

Justin's crew were very fast and completed the task in 2 half-days. Since it is so high up in my back yard, I will wait for nicer weather to give it my FULL inspection but from what I can see, they did a very nice job. I plan to hire them again for other items I still need done. Thanks Justin !

Justin is extremely polite, responsive, and competent. We are thrilled with the beautiful work he did in our kitchen and bathroom. I look forward to hiring him again.

Justin repaired a leak in my roof to get through the winter. I plan to have his team do a roof replacement in the early spring. I would definitely hire him again.

Justin and his crew were awesome! After attempting a DIY cosmetic overhaul on our bathroom, we discovered mold and rot and had to completely gut the entire room. I was in panic mode as one bathroom wasn't going to cut it. I called Justin and he was able to come that day and give us an estimate. He understood the urgency and was ready to start as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they faced a ton of set backs with the city and permits, but were still able to get the job done in good time. They were great people to work with, very professional and personable, making sure everything was done to our expectations. They also made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving at the end of the day. Justin and his crew have a true passion for what they do and I highly recommend them.

If they had 10 stars this company would get them from me! You cannot go wrong by having Justin's company! Very professional! On time cleaned up after they left job looks awesome!

I can't say enough good things about JJ Home Services. Justin is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I am in the process of buying my first home and had a ton of questions. Justin not only documented the issues with the home, but also took pictures, walked me through everything, and was more than willing to answer all of my 810 questions (haha). I am happy with the services, and will use them again in the future.
