The scheduler was great. The service tech arrived quickly and did a good job, He determined what was wrong and provided me with an estimate to replace the broken part. Everything was done to my standards, the only problem was the quote seemed high and I was able to get the final repair done for half their quote from another company.

Everything was great but I couldn't justify twice the cost for the same repair.

Went very well. A friend of mine referred me to Rick due to his credibility and the trust they have with him. I was very happy with the service performed and working with Rick. He was professional, very knowledgeable and was very honest about assessment and operated in a way where I felt he had my best interest in mind. The furnace is a little over 20 years old. Based on it's condition he said I could probably wait for a couple years to do this again, and then after that maybe every year. Seemed very appropriate given the age of furnace. I will definitely hire RIck again.
For pricing, I put a 'B' rating as there were others with lower prices but I wasn't comfortable that I'd get the same quality of service. For things like this, with all things being considered, I'd prefer going with Rick.

.Rick Hoffman did the annual service check on my gas heating system and water heater today. He checked the system, noticed the igniter was at the end of it's useful life and replaced it for me, and also changed out the filter. He even re-lit the pilot on my gas fireplace for me - it has been off for the summer, and it's hard for me to get down there to deal with it.
I've been dealing with Rick Hoffman for several years now, and he's always responded quickly when I call, done excellent work, and is very reliable. Highly recommended.

My A/C wasn't cooling as much as it should and I had another service come out to check it. They said the service valves needed to be replaced at ~$1200. I thought it might be time to replace my A/C and possibly the furnace as well. They are only ~12 years old. Hoffman was one of the companies I contacted because of good reviews from Angie's for an estimate. They gave me a good quote for replacements but just to be thorough I asked if they could send someone to give me an estimate on the repair. They were able to send someone out within the hour. This person agreed that the service valve was defective but it was a $2.50 part that needed replacing and performed the repair. The freon was a little low and he added 1 lb to top it off. he called the sales person who had just been there and told them there would not be a sale but I told him I would be calling Hoffman when I was ready for a replacement.
