ScoopyPoo, DoggyDoo PickUp started many years ago when during family dinners, many a conversation revolved around suggesting, cajoling and demanding that the young boys of the house should pick up dog poop in the backyard. After all, the dogs did “officially” belong to these young boys. Bribes didn’t work and the final statement of “we don’t do dog poop” eventually led to another conversation between Sonja and her husband. Starting as a joke, on its way to becoming a challenge, the light bulb went off in Sonja’s head. The thought that this crappy situation was not unique to her household and that many other dog owning families were going through the same painful poo pickup process, a concept was conceived. Inspired by her years in the financial industry, and years as an over zealous volunteer she started a DoggyDoo PickUp Service that was unlike any other. Founded on the basis of providing excellent customer service, guided by a business plan and infused with lots of humor—–ScoopyPoo was born, tried, tweaked and successfully launched in 2002. Sonja’s boys (who shall remain nameless) were thoroughly embarrassed and reluctant to acknowledge ScoopyPoo as a business. Today, ScoopyPoo is a thriving business for Sonja as the GrandPooPaw, and their many part time Scoopers. The nameless boys have grown up and accept what their mother does and sometimes show a glimmer of pride. But they still don’t scoop the poop in their own backyard. Some things will never change!

I have used Scoopy Poo for about five years now and couldn't be happier. Their customer service and professionalism is top notch and they do a messy job with a smile and are here two times a week like clockwork and in five years have had zero issues or complaints. I highly recommend this company and I personally use them year round although I am told a lot of their customers cancel the service in the winter and restart when snow melts BUT then you have to pay the spring cleanup fee which works out almost the same as just using the service with them year round. Scoopy Poo does great work and I highly recommend them to anyone that asks!

This company is great. I've been a customer for about four or five years now. Originally I would cancel services in the winter and they would then come do a big clean up to start season, however I now use them year round and they are very flexible, very reliable, very honest, and I am incredibly happy with them!

I hired Scoopy Poo I think about three years ago now for dog poop cleanup services at my home and have been very happy with their quality of service and responsiveness. The dollar amount fluctuates on (depending how many times they come per month) but averages around $85 to clean up for dogs and they always do a great job and if any questions are very responsive to any e-mails or inquiries by phone. I continue to use them and am very happy with their services. I know it's not a glamorous job and there are other companies out there that try to compete with them BUT given their level of professionalism, stellar work, and reliability I have never considered going with any other company besides them.

They are rock stars! My house is on the market...but I moved 3 weeks ago. I tried to get the dog poop before I left..but then there was hard snow covering a lot of poop. I know the snow has melted a lot and I have showings coming up. I begged, like a dog, to get to it right away and they squeeze me in. Although I'm not there to see it, they have integrity and told me the "scoop" of what was going on there. I'm extremely happy with them for helping me out on short notice. I would recommend them to everyone. And they are awfully nice.

I have been with them at least 4 years. I have had them all year round even when there is tones of smell in the ground, I don't cancel them even if it has just snowed because they are really good when they get to know your yard. They know where the dogs go even if it has snowed, they find it. They are incredibly funny and witty people. They give the owners TP rolls and they have hilarious things on their website. Somebody is the grand or tuber. For a long time, I did not know how to enter my credit card information on their site because I did not know how to use it but they did not cancel their service for probably 3 month. They explained to me how to do it finally. They are a great company. I have two dogs and pay 70$ a month. Cleaning for a whole month is the same as buying a glass of wine in a restaurant. It is a bargain. They call you if they are going to make changes in their schedule. You have options in the summer. I would recommend them to anyone.

Two came on Saturday and did a super awesome job, I got the spring special that included the first big clean up then 4 weeks, as good as a job that is being done I am considering doing the complete year. I give them a A +++++++++{++++++

I didn't even know they had come until I received their email receipt saying they'd been here--I think I was out at the time. They worked independently outside, double-bagged the mess, and left it discretely by my garage door so I could put it in my garbage can (they're not allowed by MN law to transport it). They even left a goodie bag on my door with a cute note about what they'd done, a holiday greeting card, and treats for dog and human alike. My dog ADORED the buffalo rawhide chew and dog biscuits, and I didn't mind the chocolates either :-).
Their website, phone operator, and literature were all filled with clean "poo" humor that was truly in good taste, and they took their jobs seriously and did a fantastic job especially with the customer service part of their business. I mean, who else has an entire web page on their website devoted to "poo" haiku poems (that were really well-written and funny)?
I hope I never need to hire help with this routine chore again, but if I do then I would choose Scoopy Poo in a heartbeat. Their prices were very reasonable and they were a joy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who got behind, has multiple dogs to clean up after, or just plain doesn't like doing the dirty work themselves. Their weekly rates are REALLY affordable, and they seem to be able to handle any situation!

I contacted Scoopy Poo and it was an hilarious experience from start to finish. They were very funny and have more one liners regarding their services than you can shake a stick at. They did an excellent job and continue to come out once a week and clean the yard. It is really nice not to have to worry about stepping in something in the yard. I would recommend them and have to others who have also hired them and have been pleased.
