John Deere snow blower in perfect working order brought in for routine maintenance: carburetor clean, spark plug replacement and drive new belt. 

While being serviced, repair person bent the bail lever (lever to engage the auger) - part no longer returns to correct position. Cannot be bent completely back to correct position (may break).  Cannot be replaced - part no longer available.  Belt installed incorrectly.  Failed while clearing 1 inch of snow.  Repair person claims belt now will not stay on pulley without a shim and auger may be bent.  No - auger is not bent as I didn't hit anything with it - I was clearing 1 inch of snow.  AND the machine had been in good working order before I brought it in for maintenance. 

Jerry's repair person said today they are NOT familiar with John Deere products after rendering mine inoperable.  I requested he remove the shim he installed as I will take it someone who is familiar with the product.  It would have been better if they had said up front they're not familiar with the unit and would rather not work on it.  None of my power equipment will be taken to this shop in the future.

John Connolly has been my "go to guy" for hardware needs for years. Even after moving about 15 miles from Edina after 16 years, John assured me he'd give me a good deal on a dream grill and that he'd make it worth my while to come back to Jerry's to purchase it.  John didn't disappoint! I purchased a "demo" Memphis Pro Grill off of Jerry's showroom at a very fair price. John's staff is great. I had let him know that I'd be arriving and the grill was ready to be loaded into my vehicle. Even though I'm no longer an Edina resident, John Connolly deserves recognition as a rare individual who truly understands and lives customer service! Thank you, John!

It went as I expected and very straight forward.  Called them setup and appointment than brought the mower in.  They give me a tracking ticket and said it would be done in about 10 days and on the 9th day I received a call that it was done.  It ended up being about $5 over the estimate.

Service took about a week. The gas was drained for the season, so I won't be able to truly test the lawnmower until spring. No complaints so far. Everyone was at the shop and helped me get the mower in and out of my vehicle.

I did not realize they close at 7 pm and I showed up around 7:15.  The person helping me was great. Jerry's called when the tiller was done and stated I could pick it up any time.  The repair person was very helpful and asked if I needed help putting the tiller in my car.  He was very helpful.

I couldn't be happier. Both mowers run better than they did and the service was delivered within the exact time and cost parameters I was given when I asked for service to be done. I compared prices and Jerry's was in the middle, but with a shorter pick-up for my house location.

Outstanding!!! After shopping Home Depot and Sears for a new lawnmower, and being more confused when I left than I was when I started, I decided to check Jerry's. I assumed I would pay more but get better service. First stop was the Vernon avenue store, where the excellent sales person listened to my needs and identified the mower that was best for me. Since I hate pulling the rope, he found a key start at the Excelsior store for the same price and suggested I go look at it. Since it was more than i had intended to spend, I first checked out Sears ( didn't carry it) and Home Depot which had the same mower at the same price. So today I went to the Excelsior store to buy it, and had another excellent salesperson walk me through the entire machine and answer all my questions. Two hours later it was delivered (free) fully assembled (free) and filled with gas and oil. The driver then walked me through every step of the operation and had me try it while he watched! I love these guys!!!

I bought this mower used and it worked for about 30 mins. I brought it to Jerry's and they were able to get it in for repair right away. They analyzed the issue and ordered the part almost right away. After the part came in, it was ready within hours.

Jerry's was able to tune up and replace the necessary parts during the busy winter season. They had the blower for about a week. We had not been running all the excess gas out of the blower prior to storing each summer. They were helpful in advising us of the necessary yearly maintenance. They did good work, but the staff in the repair department did not give us the best customer service. We had to wait about 10 minutes for us to drop off the snow blower, and it took them awhile to find it and check us out on the computer system when we picked it back up.

Actually I took it to their St. Louis Park location but they send all their reel mowers to be sharpened somewhere else. They did a fine job. I called several places and they promised the quickest service: took it in Saturday and it was done by the following Friday. This even with the Memorial Day holiday in between. Other places said at least 3 weeks so even though Jerry's was slightly more expensive, I went with them. Very professional service. They even called me on the following Friday to let me know it was ready.

ROGER WAS VERY POLITE. I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING WITH THE MOWER. HE EXPLAINED WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE MOWER AND SUGGESTED A BASIC TUNE-UP TO FIX THE PROBLEM. I DROPPED OFF THE MOWER ON FRIDAY MORNING AND IT WAS READY SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
