Was it just incompetence, or intentional retribution? I need to separate out the tree work done from their attempt to repair my lawn afterwards. I paid them $13,000 to remove two large ash trees from my back yard using a crane. They ran out of time on the crane because they they sold jobs to my neighbors without being able to rent the crane longer. So, after the crane left, they used a skid loader and messed up my lawn big time. They seemed to make good on this by repairing my lawn, but they used topsoil full of crabgrass. I had spent years ridding my lawn of crabgrass by hand, but now only the areas they "repaired" are full of crabgrass.

Edina Seasonal Services it a great lawn care company and they do a great job at each of the services they preform. They are prompt, responsive and their crews are very efficient with great attention to detail. Phil M the General Manager is clearly focused on customer service and is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this company for all your year round residential service needs.

Prompt response to my inquiry and got the job done within a day. Nice guys, did a good job. Accidentally grabbed by shovel on the way out and had it returned within the hour when I realized it was gone three days later. Nice!

I can always count on Phil and team!! Even when things don't go as planned, they are honest to work with, do their best each time and try to be as fair and helpful as they possibly can.

Very well. My husband went out and talked to the owner, who did the estimate, and felt he was very responsive and good and that he would be great to have to do our work.. Mowing was prompt and excellent and they cleaned up very well. The just finished the fall clean-up and did a great job. We are very happy with this company, they cost a bit more but we have confidence that they will be wonderful to work with.

They did a great job and they did it fast. They were professional.

Very nice , but chose not to use them because I thought they were too expensive. My sense is they do good work and are responsive, but chose a less expensive company.

I have owned a home in Edina for 20 years. I've tried several lawn care providers over that time. Edina Seasonal Services (ESS) has produced by far the best results of any lawn service I've used. My lawn has never looked better, and that's saying a lot in this drought year. This is now my second season with ESS. I don't know what they are doing that is different than the other providers, but is sure has worked. My lawn is thick and green, truly flourishing. I can only assume that the quantity or quality of their fetilizer is superior. They also do a much better job proactively spot treating weeds and emerging problem areas, without my prompting. ESS seems to treat my lawn as though it is theirs, with is what I seek from every service provider, whether car repair, plumber, etc. They are a little more expensive than other lawn care companies, but it has paid off in spades (no pun intended) in better results. Well worth the investment. I don't use them for spring clean-up or areation, as I still feel other providers can do those tasks more cost-effectively.

Overall it was o.k. However there were a couple of times I was disappointed. One time early on in the season it looked like they rammed my gate with the lawn mover and bent the rod that goes into the ground. Another time I called and asked to have my lawn bagged to capture the cottonwood junk and they only did the part of my lawn that really didn't need it. Lastly, I had new sod put down around a new patio I had put in. A few weeks after they scalped it so short I am not sure it will come back. I called and left a message for someone to call me back and have yet to get a call back.

They do a great job, always show up on time, and cleanup very well. I'll continue using them and would recommend them to anyone!

THE FRONT YARD REQUIRED A LOT OF WORK AND THE JOB WAS WELL DONE. IT FINALLY LOOKS GOOD.
