I'm an interior designer who has utilized Wall Trends for about 5-6 years. Brett and his crew always do an amazing job. If there are issues they handle it, but rarely needed. I'll use them for as long as they let me. They do a GORGEOUS job. Professional and punctual.

Wall Trends was subcontracted by Renewal by Andersen to stain our new windows.
Cancelled at the last minute the first time and couldn't reschedule for another month or so.
Painter and assistant spent two days sanding and staining windows. When they left I noticed that they had missed a number of spots and smeared stain on metal window operators and weather stripping.
Renewal by Andersen sent an inspector who said the work was not up to their standards and they would send another team to clean the stain off of metal and weather stripping. The stain cleaned off the metal but a good portion of the weather stripping had to be replaced.
A master painter was sent by Renewal by Andersen who said the color could be better and the product used should have been Sherwin Williams instead of cheaper Minwax and that a third coat of polyurethane windows should have been applied.
So the master painter came back another day and sanded and restained all of the windows. He applied more polyurethane.

We have been a preferred vendor of Renewal by Andersen for the past 6 years and continue to hold that designation today. When we complete work for a Renewal by Andersen client and that client is not happy, we are typically issued a call back request from Renewal by Andersen to complete the required re-work. We were never given that opportunity on this project and in fact never knew you were not satisfied. Had we known, we would have made every attempt to make you happy. Out of the over 1300 Renewal by Andersen jobs we have completed, we have had less then a 1% call back rate.We continue to work hard to complete our work to the satisfaction of all of our clients. We realize this may not be a realistic goal. If the other reviews that have been made on Angie's List are looked at (aside from the 2 reviews you have made), I am confident that our attention to detail and customer service shows."

Walltrends removed the knock-down to make the underside flat, then painted all of the crowns (two coats) and underside in oil-based enamel (which they had matched to the existing house trim). In addition, they fixed all of the caulking and other imperfections. While the price initially sounded expensive, the job required two painters for a day and a half each. They were extremely professional, explaining everything as they went. They plasticed off all of the door-way openings as well as the walls. It was a very neat, and highly professional job. In this case, you get what you pay for!

Wall Trends had scheduled with my wife to stain the trim on August 11 after the doors were installed on 7/28. Ben Stauffer called two days later and asked my wife if he could come that day to do the work. He worked quickly and was very friendly with and considerate of my wife who is blind. Ben did a nice job of matching up the color with existing woodwork, and the job looks great. There was no mess when I came home.
