Do to their unreasonable deposit requirements, I left without having any services performed

I have been trying to give this hardware store ALL of my business because their level of service and  commitment to superior service  and customer service is OFF the charts!  Most recently my Toro mower did not start, and within 30 minutes, Tony in their sales and service dept. stopped by my home and picked it up and delivered a Toro loaner mower for me to use until my mower was repaired. My mower was just delivered within 48 hours and they sharpened the blade, changed the oil and delivered it for a very small price!  While there is no price advantage at Valley View hardware on purchasing  big ticket items shopping over the big box stores, they BEND over backwards to service the machine in a timely fashion at a very reasonable price.  You cannot get this kind of service from a big box store! Can you imagine if YOU had a problem with your snow blower, lawn mower or garden equipment and you called one of these big box stores and you know you would expect.  Not so at Valley View Hardware.  I bought a big Toro 2 stage 9 HP snowblower last October and again they delivered the machine within the same day.  Their staff is very knowledgable and when the units are delivered to your home, without charge, they make certain you understand how to operate the unit. Speaking of Toro, I have been so pleased with their quality. Getting back to Valley View Hardware store, their customer service and large variety of high quality products is  priced very competitively.  I also use their in house coupons and they have taken advantage of their outstanding promotions on a regular basis.  If you are an average homeowner like me, they have everything you need. I moved into the Bloomington area about 2 1/2 years ago and was looking for a place like Valley Hardware to help me with many of my everyday household issues and I struck gold with their family owned hardware store. if I could buy groceries and an automobile from Valley View Hardware, i would do it in an instance, because i know they stand behind EVERYTHING they offer. it is worth traveling to Valley West Shopping Center to visit this hardware store.  This retailer will exceed your expectations in all areas.  In fact, I am going over there today to buy some more grass seed.  I have been a member of Angie's for a couple of year and I make it an effort to let others know about my satisfaction and lack thereof, and this is another retailer that deserves the highest accolades possible.

I had some problems with the mulching attatchment of the mower. They came out and fixed the mower at no extra charge. So I thought they did a good job.

It was done fine.

The work was done correctly- the lawn mower ran fine after the tune-up was done. However, the price seems kind of high for the amount of work done and I plan to shop around more next time before I would go back to them.
