The people we worked with from Davey did a great job. Our sales person was knowledgeable and professional. He answered our many questions and thoroughly documented what we needed done. The team that came out to remove the trees and bushes were professional, on time, and also answered many of our questions and addressed various concerns we had. All the work they completed was done in a thorough manner and they left our yard in great shape. We would definitely recommend Davey and we would hire them again.

Everything was handled in a very timely and professional manner. All questions were answered and when we noticed we had another tree that was browning during the summer they came out and found out the root cause and also put together a plan to treat that tree also.

It went well. 4 men showed up on the scheduled date, and worked for a couple of hours. They followed directions, and very courteous and professional.

So very impressed! Seth was very professional - he met us on his day off, but the only time we had. On the day of the work, Seth reviewed the work to be done with the crew chief. Then each of the staff extended their hand and introduced themselves to me. What a great way to start a work day! And the crew were very professional - to each other!! "Please" and "thank you" were heard all day when they were talking with each other! Crew chief thanked each of the staff at the end of the day - He appreciated their work and it was enjoyable working with them ~ VERY impressed! - They did exactly what we had agreed to and the clean up was so good -- they even took a couple of small piles of branches that I had left! From the time I called and spoke with the office staff to set up an appointment, until I received the invoice following the work, the entire experience was pleasant, honest and professional!

There was one time when they burnt an area of my lawn with their fertilizer application. They took care of the weeds. I had them on a maximum of two years.

They did a great job. They were conscientious and did what they said they'd do. I got the deal with the arbres and the deal with the trimming.

It went very well.   They were very considerate and professional.  Less expensive than another bid I received.

All of the employees were knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The bid was written up by Tyler, He walked through the project carefully and shared a lot of information during the process. He wrote the bid up and left it with us before leaving. Once we signed it, it took approximately 1 to 2 weeks before the crew came out to do the work. They did a great job and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. Overall we were very pleased with the work.

We have used their service a couple of times and we like using them. They do a good job. We were very pleased with the work and scheduling. We were pleased with the workers and the estimator. We liked how they took care of the wood chips as well.

In the fall, Scott came out within 24 hours of our initial call to the business to look over our property. We have a semi-wooded lot and 75% of the trees are Ash. With the impending Emerald Ash infestations Scott thought it was a great idea to follow through on our landscaper's idea of removing different batches of the ash and replacing them over time so as to have a more natural look to the yard, vs. culling the entire area at once. He also pointed out a tree that may already be showing signs of some type of infestation, and another one that could fall on the neighbors's house in a bad storm.
Scott was on time (early actually) and very courteous. He thoroughly explained all of our options and the procedures. He even went over some of our landscaping and explain how we could prep it for the winter. He took the time to be a teacher, not just a salesman.
When January rolled around, we received our scheduling call from Scott. He had the crew out to the house within 24 hours. All of the gentlemen were courteous, explained the work they were going to do, and even moved one of the major vehicles when my husband had to unexpectedly pick up our ill child from school. They were careful to preserve all of the trees and brush surrounding the trees they were taking down (with a cherry picker and saw). At no time did any of the branches come in contact with the house or the neighbor's yard. By the time the clean-up was complete you could only tell that they had done the work because the trees were missing from the yard. No branches, twigs, etc. were left anywhere they had done work. The stumps were cut low enough to the ground we couldn't see them through the snow until we walked right up to them.
We will most definitely be having Scott and his crew out for future tree removal. We interviewed and contacted many local tree companies- and this was the only one that consistently made contact when we needed them to, and showed up on time - every time. They were a pleasure to work with and their quality of work was outstanding.

I have an extensive investment in English Gardens since about 2005.  That means lots of boxwoods and arborvitae, and I am fussy.   This vendor did the best work out of several others that have worked on my property in the past.  Keith and Eric did extremely careful and neat trimming.  It was hard work as I don't allow electric trimmers on the boxwoods.  They had sharp hand trimmers and that protects the cut edges from being frayed and drying out.  Cost was 40% less than others --- perhaps because they had proper training and experience.  A definite "highly recommended".
