Overall, my experience with Stanley Steemer was good. I had a coupon for 20% off the entire job so the price was good. Scheduling was easy on-line. They showed up during the specified window. The technician was very personable. Tried hard to upsell me on Scotchguard protection, etc. He went to work and was quite efficient. He had to redo one area where a spot had not come out but was able to remove it. By evening, a small portion of my bedroom carpet had turned brown. The next day I called the office and they set an appointment for someone to come back out. The appointment was set for 2 days later, which was fine. The technician was unsure of why the brown had occurred, but treated it and recleaned it. It looked okay while it was wet. Later when the carpet dried, the brown came back. I called the office again and they told me that a supervisor would call me back in about 2 days. It shouldn't take 2 days for a supervisor to call a customer back about a problem. I didn't received a call until late in the 2nd day. I was driving and was not able to answer the phone but did call back right away. I got voice mail and left a message. The next day--nothing. I called the supervisor's number and left a message. Day 2--again nothing. I left another message. On day 3 after I hadn't received a call, I called the local number again. The person told me they could have someone come out again with a supervisor--but not for a week because they were "too busy." A company should never be "too busy" to take care of a problem they've caused for a customer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to a supervisor. He agreed to come out in 2 days' time. A supervisor did come out, retreated the area and cleaned again and this time the brown has not come back. I was very disappointed in how hard I had to work to get someone to take care of the problem they caused. While they were all very polite, a company should never make a customer wait days and weeks before it gets around to resolving a problem.

I had Stanley Steemer out to use a 500 dollar gift card which was given due to them causing over 6,000 in damages to My house on the prior Visit, after missing the 1st appointment Not calling til after I called & emailed many times asking where the guy was going to arrive they canceled & guaranteed a 2 man crew the following morning. 1 guy arrived about lunchtime. Nice young man but sub-par work. Failed to mention or go over additional costs which my total was to be under 500 ordered & confirmed. I had other obligations that Saturday as this cleaning was to be done Friday as Scheduled he asked how I wanted to pay the balance which was almost $1200 total!!! Was never told or informed of extra costs or why never received a copy of the costs or even a receipt once paid. They are trained to get as much out of each job! = for 2 hours of cleaning I would never pay 500+ per hour especially since the few Concern spots our weekly house cleaners couldn't clean we wanted professionally cleaned. I've left several calls to the Manager & also emails with no response so here I'm wasting more time posting a review with I will do on various other sites as well The original damages Caused could have been avoided with the protective equipment they failed to use to rush the Job. There's much more I could share however I trust my point is clear.

Workers did not speak English very well, used recycled water to clean. Spent about 15 minutes of actual cleaning time and then tried to sell extra services. Carpet looked the same when it was done. Poor job of cleaning.

I don't remember the price. It was one of those coupon specials.

Fine. The couches had been very dirty from dogs rubbing on the sides. The corners could have come out cleaner. The two workers were very friendly and amiable.

I think it was 3 rooms for $99 and I don’t know what we did for add-ons. The price was acceptable.

Went very well and as scheduled. We have used these people before and have been very satisfied with their service.

They did a nice job. It was expensive. I think that their pricing is generally in line with other carpet cleaners, but my complaints was that they spent quite a bit of time trying to get me to purchase a package for future cleaning or extra services. I was not happy about that. I think they did an amazing job with carpet cleaning.

The team of 2 cleaning technicians came to do the job about 10 minutes after I received a call telling me they were on their way.  They arrived well within the window the appointment was set up for.  As I was planning to have this done more often during the year as I have multiple dogs that can soil our carpet pretty bad, I decided to go with their annual plan where they will come out a total of 4 times during a 1 year period.  This saves me about 30% of the total cost.  The technicians were chatty with me, and did an excellent job of cleaning our carpet.  In fact, I think it turned out better than I had expected.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We were very pleased with it. They don't use chemicals. We feel really good about what they do. They're very thorough. I had them do extra than what their promo had. I like when they have specials. I usually wait until they have their specials. They did the corners. They're very cordial. They do a very good job. I don't have any complaints. They did such a stupendous job when we had our sump pump go out on us.
