Mr. Corrado Russo is a very good painter and a very unprofessional contractor.  He was unwilling to finish the job until I threatened him with a lawsuit! ! !
I WENT FOR A WHOLE YEAR WITH MOST OF MY WINDOWS PAINTED SHUT.  I managed to get one window open in each bedroom for fire safety (exit).  In the process I broke one.  He promised to come on at least 4 occasions in fall of 2012 but either never showed up or called to say he was so busy he had to finish his other jobs before he could get to me.  He promised to come on at least 4 more occasions in the spring/summer of 2013 but never showed up or called to say he could not make it. 
Eventually I had to resort to threatening a law suite.  I completed application to Hennepin County Small Claims court (Conciliation Court), obtained an estimate for someone else to open and touch up the windows, and I arranged estimate for the window I broke trying to get it open.  I then mailed him a certified letter including all the paper work indicating I would ask for $950 dollars.  He did not even have the decency to call me back.  He simply showed up on my doorstep, and made a joke about my wanting $1000 just to have him open my windows.  I told him I was angry and behond discussing the issue.  I did have time right now and if he wanted to do the work right now I would not file the law suite.  He did get them open.
He did very good painting and for a very good price.
However I cannot recommend him because of his lack of professionalism and unwillingness to finish a job, his unwillingness to communicate directly, his numerous episodes of not showing up when promised and his inconsideration of my and my families situation with painted shut windows.

I really, really like them. They were really nice and professional. They were willing to work on my schedule. They gave me some good ideas of what to do. I just really like that company a lot.

They did very poor work. One of the workers was competent while the other one wasn't fully trained.

Corrado was able to help with just about any project I asked him to do and he finished on time! I had a baby due soon so I needed it done in a hurry since I couldn't be around the fumes! He was friendly, fast and professional in completing the jobs and dependable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a myriad of things needing to be done or just needs straight painting in your home. Also, I compared him to many other companies who had a wait list and much higher prices! No one came close to his pricing for all the work I had done.
