Sams TV repair

Sam did a great job! It was easy to contact him & coordinate the repairs. He did a quick job for a very reasonable price. He was very pleasant to work with and I would absolutely use him again.

Sam was very efficient, honest and worked on the tv overnight. Unfortunately it couldn’t be fixed even though the suspected bad part was put in and tried. The part that would have fixed it was too expensive to make it worthwhile so we purchased a different TV. I would definitely give Sam another try if I need TV repair.

The problem was diagnosed and fixed in a very timely manner. We brought it back a few months later for a different problem and a small fix was done for no cost. Much better than recycling the TV!!

In my 80 years I’ve never encountered a more honest, fair and personable serviceman than Sam. Even though he typically sticks to the suburbs, he agreed to pick up my 42” Panasonic plasma “smart” TV set when it ceased to function after five years. I called him on a Friday, and he was at my house in Minneapolis the next morning, a 20-mile round trip. After trying in vain to replace individual elements in the offending board, Sam called me to say that a repair would mean he’d have to buy a new board for $30. With labor—and after deducting a 10% senior discount—my cost would total $480. The very first thing he said after delivering the bad news was, “It’s not worth it. You might as well buy a new set.” How many repairmen would say that? How many would simply present an estimate without advising a customer that the repair would be penny wise and pound foolish. I know from experience that plenty would be willing to take advantage of an elderly woman and just “take the money and run.” Sam’s total bill? $60. And he paid the recycling fee of $10. And he made me laugh. What more can you ask?

He was on time, personable, honest and charged me half of what Sears charged me two years ago to fix the exact same issue. He is very knowledgeable, guarantees his work and I would highly recommend his services to others. Excellent experience!

Sam came out, took the TV to his shop and repaired parts of the circuit panel instead of replacing the panel with available China boards. He let me know the progress, tested the TV and brought it back. Price charged was same as estimate

We found Sam's TV Repair here on the list. We called and were able to take the TV right to Sam. Sam could have easily told us our television was beyond repair or too expensive to repair and sold us a new tv. Instead, once we described the problem, he told us what he thought was wrong. He told us that we had a good quality television and thought it would be worth repairing. He repaired it quickly and the family is happily watching in the family room again. Thanks!

Sam's Tv scheduled my tv repair really quickly and was extremely helpful during the visit. It was difficult to figure out the tv mounting system- and he put in extra to figure it out in order to get the repair job done.  Would highly recommend. Job was done quickly and efficiently. He also came prepared with parts so that two visits were not necessary. 

In town to visit my parents in law and their Vizio TV wasn't responding. Figured out via Google that it was probably the infrared sensor and called up Sam on a Saturday afternoon at 4 pm. Dropped off the TV right away and he called us back at 10 am the next day (Sunday) confirming the diagnosis and saying it was all done. Quick service and very reasonable prices. Thanks Sam! Saved us the cost of a new TV!

Wow. I am blown away by this service provider. He pre-diagnosed the issue over the phone. Scheduled an appt for less than 24 hours out. He showed up in a timely manner, removed his shoes before walking into my home and proceeded to resolve the problem in less than 30 minutes. He even had the correct parts on hand to make the repair quickly - and within one visit. He gave some us good tips about how to make this model last longer. Very friendly, but professional. Guarantees his work. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of service. 

Sam showed up on a Sunday in -10 degree weather...made repair in 15 minutes and charged a very reasonable amount...not much more than the new bulb would have cost us to buy it ourselves. We would use him again and recommend his services.

We contacted Sam earlier today, and Sam was able to drop by only a couple of hours later.  He fixed the tv in no time, for a good price.

I contacted Sam on Friday and the next day he picked up the TV from our house, brought it back to his shop and returned it the same day. He also fixed another problem that is common for these sets and didn't charge me extra for that. He also gives a six month warranty on his work.

In home service estimate was less than competition for drop off service. Was always punctual on appointments and quick to return calls. Unfortunately for Sam (the owner) the new parts he received were defective twice which caused him two revisits. He was always pleasant, thorough, shared what he was doing and was apologetic for the parts being defective. He did not change his original estimate even though it took 3 visits to my home rather than the expected single visit.
Sam also showed me how to change the light bulb in the TV when it goes out thus saving me from a possible service call in the future.
