Matthew came out and did a free estimate about 10 days before and we set a date for him to come to our home (but you can also have him take pieces with him and he'll work on them at his shop) and then he came over that morning and worked until Noon and the chair was done. It was amazing. He is like an artist. He is so passionate and meticulous about his work you will have no doubt that you are in good hands and his rates were very fair and he was very honest with us about 2 other pieces we had him look at when he said one would cost too much to fix and we should replace and the other he told us the name of a good conditioner to use and recommended we get a tint put on our windows to protect the piece from sun damage rather than pay him to re-condition it. He said it is what he would do himself so that is what he tells his clients. Love it :) Matthew also works on cars/autos and restoring leather seats in vehicles but our items were all home furnishings.
