The price was reasonable. It was an excellent service.

They seem real fine. We have a contract with them. We will be using them again. They were on Angies List. They respond pretty well. They do good work. We haven't had any bugs. They come out and spray around and remove bees nests and things like that.

My wife was very satisfied with him. He came very quickly. He even came back a second time to take care of this. My wife was very happy.

See above. Set cheap I humane and ineffective glue traps for mice and bait stations. I had bought better equipment myself. Did not plug any holes preventing mouse entry and inspection very quick with minimal interest shown in addressing the source of the problem. Did not advise me what type of traps he set out or where they were. Nothing. Found this on my own later then researched them and learned what crappy traps they are.

We have been very happy with this service. Reliable, courteous. Explained well the situation. Very punctual. They have come out when we suspect we have a new issue and taken care of issue. Once they addressed initial mouse infestation it was taken care of within about a week. We have not had an infestation since.

Worhin a few days the ants were gone

Carpenter ants made me make the call to Orkin, but it's Orkin's service that keeps me looking forward to their return. Since the first application, I have not seen one carpenter ant and am finally rid of all kinds of insects/pests that I had come to accept as part of life in Minnesota. Professional and committed sales staff and technicians make them easy to work with. Their service does not come cheap, but they do get rid of the pests and I love being bug free.

We called Orkin customer service and asked them if they would also spray the yard as we have a HORRIBLE ant infestation, the customer service rep explained that no they do not spray the whole yard but they will spot treat. Based upon that information we signed up for service for the year.
The representative Howie showed up at our house as scheduled, we had some paperwork to fill out. During this process I tried to show Howie where I wanted him to treat, Howie didn't appear to listen to one word I said, instead he was busy telling me about a friend of his who was a drug addict. I got to listen to this for almost 30 minutes, I finally went and got my husband hoping that this would put an end to it, not so lucky in that.
My husband quickly left me to my own defences and Howie continued to ramble and make me feel uncomfortable, I had a conference call schedled and told him I needed to go get prepared for it. Finally Howie started towards his truck to get his equipment, not more than 1 minute later Howie is back knocking on my door asking if he can use the bathroom.
This man made me feel so uncomfortable that I had planned to cancel the service as I did not want him to ever come to my home again. I called the local Orkin office that was to be servicing us to cancel, when I called I was advised that Howie would not be returning as he was only used to set up accounts (shocked that they send a person who appears to have little to no social skills to be the first person to greet new customers). I was told by the woman I talked to that she would let his manager know, however I was disappointed that she never apologized to me for the experience and that the manager never followed up with me to apologize for the experience.
I am bound to a years contract with this provider, however based upon this experience I can't recommend them and do not plan to use them again next year.

Orkin sales person made commitments on service that Orkin denied and would not honor. Moral of the story - DO NOT buy from Orkin selling door to door.
Sales Process - Fraudulent -- Although the same company, apparently, Orkin can say whatever they want to get the sale and tell you that you need to read the fine print of the agreement. Orkin door to door sales guy sold a quarterly pest control and suggested I could try it out and stop at any time if I was not happy. When I was not happy with the results, they told me that I could not stop at any time and had to pay another $120 and one more visit to stop.
Quality -- More pests this year than any other year after paying all that money. I do not have a major pest issue, just some ants
and a few bugs. However, with Orkin this year - I had more pests than another other of the 9 years at my home. Orkin claims that this year was particularly bad and had I not used them, it would have been much worse. Could be -- but after paying several hundred dollars, I was looking for results -- not excuses.
The only thing good about Orkin was their responsiveness to come out and re-apply their chemicals if you did have bug problems. This happened many times because their pest control was not working.
I will never use Orkin again. Unethical sales and poor results.

They went above and beyond, they did the testing and they gave me the advice for free.

It goes well. I don't mind the price.

The Orkin people are very professional. They removed their shoes before entering the house. Their applications are pet-friendly and child-friendly, which is very important to me as I have a dog and I am a grandmother. .

Quite often, we're not home when they need to come. They are very trust-worthy and we don't have to worry. They send the same guy every time and he knows our family well by now--we've been using them for years. He does an excellent job. We live near a creek and have lots of pests that live nearby as a result. The service guys do a great job of explaining what to do to keep the problems to a minimum.
