Great, smooth process

Joe was quick to respond to my request for a design and estimate for a paver patio and firepit. We quickly made decisions on materials (pavers and mulch) and the next week they completed the work. ( It was early spring before their busiest time.) There was a lot of rain and they had to work on a hill which made it quite slippery and difficult for their machinery. Joe was very easy to work with and responsive to questions and changes as the project progressed. The patio turned out nice and they repaired sod, moved sprinklers where needed and cleaned up well.

We had a couple of small problems that took some time to resolve: 1) they didn't mark all sprinkler heads and one was buried under the new sod repair which caused some pooling of water in the yard. 2) a patio door screen was damaged while removing the old patio and we are waiting for that replacement.

Overall , the project ran smoothly and we are happy with our new patio. It's hard to rate and quot;qualityand quot; on a project like this right away because although it is beautiful now, time and our Minnesota seasons will be the real test of quality of work. In terms of price, they were not the lowest bid, but I liked Joe's personal approach to the project.

I hired Neils Outdoor Services to mow my yard for the summer. The services in the monthly contract included weekly lawn mowing, shrub trimming and spring/fall clean up. The service was excellent and was completed with in two hours of the same time each week. They are a smaller company and that is the reason behind the B grades. A larger company can achive an A rateing but you wouldnt get the personal touch of the owner on site. The price was fair, not the cheapest bid I found but the service was well worth every penny. I have used the service for one summer and will be looking forward to hiring them back for this year.
