"This review is disappointing and troubling on a number of different levels for a number of different reasons not the least of which is the fact that we have made repeated attempts to reach this client and the first indication that we had received that there was some dissatisfaction with the job completed was when we read this review on Angie's List. Upon seeing this review we once again reached out to Mr. [Member Name Removed] to discuss and once again he has been unresponsive and silent. We pride ourselves on the relationships that we build with clients based upon clearly outlined estimates detailing the scope of work and executing quality work based on those estimates. That said, there are occasions where perceptions can differ between estimator and client. In those instances where we may have missed on an objective with the original job, we return to make it right. This does require some open communication."
"Thank you for the positive comments, [Member Name Removed]. We appreciate our clients and are glad to hear you are happy with the service!"
"Thank you for giving us an A for our work at your home. We are happy to hear that you are pleased and hope that you will think of us again for your future tree care needs."
I would recommend them as they always kept us in loop with updates, mindful of our gates and dogs and again, clean, safe, honest and pleasant to deal with.
"Thank you [Member name removed] for choosing us to handle the removal of the ash tree to make room for the addition. It was a pleasure working with you throughout the process even though we each had a few curve balls thrown at us along the way. Tree work is organic and once you get into it a tree removal it takes on a life of its own requiring a great amount of flexibility to see it all through in as safe and efficient a manner as possible. You were a delight to work with and even though the job(s) took longer than anticipated I always enjoyed showing up on site and being greeted by your smiling face. If we can ever be of service in the future, please don't hesitate to call."
Lane and I discussed which line items I wanted done via email, and he sent me a new estimate with the reduced work.
A work crew of two were there at 9:30am, ready to go with a list of what needed to be done. They confirmed with me which trees were which. The Xcel guy was also there at 9:30, and they worked with him to get the line dropped. Once the line was dropped they took the leaning boxelder down and helped the Xcel guy get the line back up. That was very fast. Piecing the other box elder down was slower, since the one guy had to climb up (30-40 ft off the ground) and piece down the branches over the house. Very few branches hit the roof, and none of the big ones.
They pulled all the cut wood off into the brush as asked, and were great about asking where I wanted things piled.
Great work, great price, would hire again.

Monster Tree Service receives the highest recommendation and customer satisfaction for their services provided at my home.
The initial consultation was done with Wes. As Wes and I walked through our yard, he offered suggestions on what work should be done and why. It was great to have someone who didn't just provide a bid, but explained and quot;whyand quot; the recommended work should be done. Once we were done, Wes created the bid by areas. Since the bid was relatively large, I appreciated the fact Wes took the time to break the bid into sections.
The work was scheduled three days later. The team, including Wes, arrived within the give time frame. Wes walked the team through the yard and ensured we were all on track with the planned work. The team then began their work.
As the team worked, my mother (81 years old) and I and quot;checked onand quot; on the guys to make sure they were doing their work correctly. My mother asked them to trim a few more branches here and there*, what tools they were using, why they were cutting the branch where they did, etc. The team was patient and knowledgeable and answered each and every one of our questions. (*The trimmer explained it is easier to remove more branches because he can't add branches back if he takes too much!)
I asked for a few additional tree branches (high up and large) to be removed that weren't part of initial bid. The additional cost to do the work was very reasonable.
The clean up done by the team was great! All the branches and trees were removed from my yard. My driveway and sidewalk were cleaned as well.
I am very pleased with the service and professionalism from Monster Tree Service. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. :)
"It was a pleasure working with [member name removed] and her mother to achieve their vision for the trees on their property. While they looked to us to bring our own skills and expertise to bear in achieving that vision, they had clear expectations. They were engaged throughout the process which enabled us to fine-tune the work as we went along. We appreciate the input and feedback they shared along the way and all of us at Monster Tree look forward to the next opportunity to serve their tree care needs."
"The rather tepid write-up is a bit surprising given the enthusiastic thanks we received from Frank when he paid us at the completion of the job. While the arborist who bid the job was not on site for the work, our certified arborist climber was, as well as myself, the owner. This property is heavily wooded and our job specification was quite clear and specific about the limbs we would be removing from specific trees on various parts of the property and that we would remove the debris that we created with those removals. However, removal of existing debris, which in this case was quite extensive, was not within the scope of the job, nor was it called out in the work order signed off on by the client. While we regularly engage in lot clearing, that was not requested as part of this job. We would welcome an opportunity to regain [member name removed]enthusiastic satisfaction."
