Watch out for the “Pulse” brake light – this is a feature Metropolitan Ford puts on used cars for sale. Everything appears like the Pulse brake light feature is included in the price of the car. When you get the itemized cost for the car there will be a $299 charge for the Pulse brake light.

I have an old 2001 Ford F-350 which is very rusty from plowing snow. Its driver-side running board was loose, but functional. I am discouraged that after an estimate on restoring its air conditioning the running board was detached and set in the back of the truck. I believe this took some effort and it did not just fall off. On an earlier oil change, the truck's dipstick tube was broken off from the engine. I paid for the extra labor to install a new dipstick sleeve, believing it was accidental.

It took about four hours to complete the work. They were friendly and personable. They didn't explain what they did they just did. I think they should not charge for their shuttle service. I think it should be complimentary.

Leased a car from them. When it was time to pick up the car there was only one key available for it. Not a problem according to the sales person. She would find the second key and get it to us. After not having heard back, we called to discover that the sales person had forgotten who needed the key. Since she couldn't find it, they would have another one programmed and we needed to come in to have it programmed. It took 3 trips before they were able to get the equipment to work to program the key.

1. Lied to my face twice. My wife had proof in her pocket from the ad they ran on CL and to back up my conversations. ** That would have been the "walk out the door moment" ** Finding a replacement vehicle for the one we had totaled while someone was texting on 494 limited our options based on miles/model year/and proximity for pickup. 2. Purchased the vehicle at the price they originally agreed to (the one before they lied to my face about the price by $1,800) 4. Drove the truck directly home. Called in the morning as the grill near the fog light fell off in the garage and was laying on the floor after my wife left for work (I work at home). She called to have it looked at, THEY OFFERED TO ALLOW US TO SET UP AN APPT AND PAY THEM TO REMEDY Metropolitan Ford exemplifies the car business' putrid reputation and only enforces how well they have earned it.

I drop off the key the night before for an alignment the next day. I receive  a call the next morning telling me that I need a new battery because the car won't start.  I said, "that's funny because I just bought a new battery from Interstate  Battery".  Silence on the other end. I said I don't want to buy one if it's under warranty, so I went to the dealership and got the battery and took it to Interstate.  They  immediately put a load test on it and said it was within normal tolerances but they put it on a charger for an hour to make me happy.  So, I take the battery back and later get another call from the dealer, "Oh yeah, I guess it wasn't the battery.....it's your starter that's no good".  What kind of a professional dealership service area can't tell the difference between a bad battery and a bad starter?  I wasn't thinking at the time but why didn't they put a jump start on it in the first place?  They said they had tried charging it earlier but it wouldn't take a charge.  Funny, Interstate said it was fine and I've been driving around with the same "bad" battery now for the last month.  Funny too, how once I bring back the battery that's passed all of Interstate's tests that the story changes.  I guess my starter chose to die at that very moment that morning in the dealer's garage!!??  Well I paid for a reconditioned starter (the 'reconditioned' part wasn't revealed until I saw it on the receipt), and my alignment, so they got their money.  That's the last they'll see of me.  It's also funny that the most disappointing companies never follow up with a quality survey, whereas, if I go to Toyota or Honda, they always request feedback.

Great experience.  We worked with just one sales person through the entire process.  He did a great job of listening to our needs and finding the right vehicle for us.  Both he & the finance person we worked with were very respectful of our time and got us through the car buying process promptly.  The dealership had a good "home town" friendly feel where as some of the other dealers we went to treated us like a number and shuffled us around between multiple people.

The price we were offered for our trade-in was not honored, costing us $500. Then a week after we took delivery we discovered unrepaired hail damage on the roof of our new truck. We bought the truck knowing it had been hail damaged but were told that all hail damage had been repaired. It was not. When we called to express our concern, we were told that all hail damage had been repaired except for the roof! We never would have agreed to the purchase under those circumstances. We would not recommend this dealer.

Steve Evans showed us the prius and we took a test drive. He pointed out all the features that came with the car and answer any questions that we had. He was very professional, polite and good to work with. They did offer to sell us an extended warranty on the car which may or may not have been worth the cost. It was basically a yes or no question and they did not push it. The cost was $16500.00 with tax and license tabs.
