Leighton's Garage

They have always been real good. I have a set of rims for the winters here in Minnesota and they always changed it our for me and stored them. They always did all my other maintenance. The price is a reasonable amount.

Based on the Angie's List reviews, I brought my car to Leighton's twice for repair rather than bringing it to the dealer. Both times they and quot;fixed itand quot; but as it turned out, they didn't. Both times they blamed a faulty part from the dealer. Both times they said it was a fluke. Ultimately they did fix the problem but after experiencing the same results twice, I wouldn't go back as I simply don't have time to deal with multiple trips for the same issue. They are nice guys and were pleasant and personable throughout.

They were professional, yet personable. They got right on my needs, got the car fixed at a fair price. We all know that getting our vehicles fixed is right up there with a root canal, but Leighton's Garage takes a LOT of the sting out of it!

A great experience and a huge improvement over repairs done at a dealership where we always previously took our van. We were able to bring in the van right away upon calling for a service appt. We received a phone call with a diagnosis and estimate within a few hours and the work was completed by later the same afternoon. We were told at the dealership that the broken heater would require over $900 worth of repairs and was very complex. Leighton's said that the problem was mainly a very dirty air filter that looked like it had never been changed, which was very disappointing since we had the air conditioner serviced and repaired at the dealership several times over the van's 200,000 miles! Leighton's fixed that and quot;$900 broken heaterand quot; for a tiny fraction of that cost...the entire repair, including the broken air conditioner fan AND an oil change came in at under $200. The van was vacuumed when we picked it up and the shop was clean, neat and welcoming, with polite and organized staff. Leighton's is now my go-to auto repair shop for all of my vehicles!

Love them. We are return customers because they are fair and honest. A year ago my husband had a problem with his oil system, and they jerry rigged a solution that saved us a bundle.

Flawless. The previous two shops told me I needed expensive repairs, $1000+. I was skeptical, and did not get the repairs done. I went to Leighton's, they made the correct repair, and it cost me 60% of what a previous shop charged me for the same repair 7 years ago. I Have been searching for a mechanic I felt like I could trust for 10 years. So far Leighton's will be my new shop of choice!

It was a great experience. They were very fair. They did a great job and worked quickly. We were very happy.

I am very happy with them. They do what they say they will do. They call you before they do anything you didn't authorize. They do good work and your car is ready when they say it will be. They will call you and explain if it isn't ready.

Price was excessive. The person at desk was arrogant and combative when I said the price was more than double what he had quoted.

I visit them almost every month. In the past, they have done oil changes, rotating tires, fixing a door, and fixing the noises. They are really good. They are not the cheapest, but they don’t talk me into anything that I don’t need. They tell me if something is wrong. I will use them again in the future.

Performed repair timely. Simply expensive repair. I can't say I understand what they did - but it works great now.

My car broke down over the weekend in St. Paul. I was refered to Leighton's Garage by a neighbor that had a good previous experience. I checked out there website and saw that they had a link to Williams Towing Service. I called the associated towing service and scheduled a pickup for just an hour later. I met the driver at the St. Paul parking lot because my Audi alarm system is a pain to deal with without a key. He towed my car to Leighton's garage in Eden Prairie. I called the next morning when they opened. I expained what I thought the problem was and that it would be great if he could fix it that day since I was off of work. He said he would do his best. Called later that day and confirmed that it was the serpentince belt tensioner and asked if I wanted to also replace the back brake pads and another repair at that time. I asked him to just repair the belt and I would take care of the brakes. Finished the car on time later that afternoon. Price seemed a little high even if it was a Audi. Good experience overall.

They are very trustworthy. They check everything and let me know as to what needs to be done to my car as well as my truck. They are not overly aggressive and it always seems like they charge a fair price. They provide service on the same day itself. The price that they charged for an oil change was less than $40.

The experiences have all gone well.
