My TV was not working at all. It would not even come on. They were able to fix it with minimal work and didn't even charge me the full service fee since it took less than 15 minutes to fix the problem. I am very pleased with the service and will definitely use them again should I find myself in need again.

After using the internet to determine that a broken color wheel was causing the loud noise coming from my DLP TV, I bought a replacement and tried replacing it myself. After three hours of careful detaching and reattaching of many clips, cables and whatnots, the TV wouldn't even turn on any more. I used Angie's List to find In Home Tech Solutions, who knew immediately my situation just hearing me on the phone. I set up an appointment for two days later. Mark, the technician, contacted me beforehand so I could get home to meet him. As he made quick work of determining the failure, he pointed out things I could do differently in the event I attempted another repair and then fixed the TV. He was friendly, helpful and very informative. The pricing structure was explained to me fully on the phone and the estimate came in right on the money. Mark helped me replace the lamp as well, as I has a spare. We tested the TV and found it to be back in working order. It was a pleasure speaking with the service rep on the phone and then working with the person who came to do the repair. Everyone at In Home Tech Solutions was top notch.

These guys were great. I had a lightening strike on a TV. After describing the issue, they figured out what was wrong, ordered the part and scheduled a visit. They showed up, took care of my 50" LG TV and made sure everything was up and running. Highly recommend.

The repair guy was very up front, and told me that a new LCD panel (which is what the TV needed) would cost more than a new TV so it wasn't worth fixing. He knocked off $20 from the bill, so that was very nice. He told me what to do if I wanted to fix it myself, so that was good too.

They were very professional, and told me upfront that if the cost to repair was higher than purchasing a new TV, they would recycle it for me. I felt I was being dealt with honestly and courteously. Would definitely call In Home Tech again.

I could not be more pleased with In Home Tech Services' service. Without hesitation, I would use them again and I highly recommend them. We have a ten year old Mitsubishi projection TV (42"). For a number of months it has had a worsening problem in which the colors would not converge, so the picture had become unwatchable, like watching multi-colored ghosts wandering around the screen. We had the same problem about a year and a half ago, and the repair man (from a one or two person shop) fixed it for a while, but it came back after a year. To be fair, he said it would happen. In Home Tech Solutions sent their man Kenny to make the repair. There was a minor problem with the scheduling (IHTS accidentally set it in their records on the wrong day), but the second time they had Kenny there right on time. Also, they took $20 off the service call amount. To make a long story short, Kenny fixed the problem and cleaned the internal lenses. The TV works like new now. He found some cracked solder on the circuit board & re-soldered those connections. NOBODY takes the trouble to repair circuit boards any more, they always want you to buy a whole new board, but Kenny did and did it right! Kenny was friendly and professional, in addition to competent, as was the gal on the phone. I have waited three weeks before writing this review in order to assess whether his repair would hold, and so far, so good.

I called In Home Tech Solutions based on the Angie's List reviews. The woman that I talked to was very nice. I explained that my TV may not be worth repairing but I wanted to try. She made an appt for today (as I write this) and I asked he to ask the tech to call me before he got here, which he did. After he arrived and realized that the TV would cost more to repair than it was worth, he offered to charge me just half of their normal fee, which I was very happy about. He was honest, nice and courteous, and on time. Based on what Mark told me about IHTS, I called Brian (who it seems is the owner) to get advice on my hooking up all of my new home theater pieces. Brian is a wealth of knowledge, and I will be having IHTS install my home theater in a few weeks. I highly recommend calling IHTS. I will use them from now on for any and all TV repairs and installs. A+ all the way (why cant all business be run this well?)

I was totally impressed with the service provided by In Home Tech Solutions. The technician was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He even saved me $200 on the part in question by providing an insider tip! Plus, they were able to diagnose and repair IN MY HOME. All in all, the repair was done on time and, in my eyes, under-budget. These guys are awesome!

As described everything went very well as they did exactly what they said they would and never took advantage of a situation where that could have easily been done so.

Our television died and we needed it fixed quickly. When I called, they said they couldn't come until the next day. I explained why we needed it fixed that day, and they managed to fit us into their schedule. I was very impressed with the response. Unfortunately, the replacement part, if they could find it, would be nearly $1000. We opted for a new television and they had it here and installed by the end of the day. Some of the installation was tricky and took a while, but Brian stayed until it was finished and working as it should. We are thrilled with the new television and the service and highly recommend In Home Tech Solutions. Their prices are competitive, and their professionalism and responsiveness are outstanding.

The experience was incredible. Both contacts with the company were extremely professional. I called a number of vendors and In Home Tech Services knew immediately what the issue was likely to be and it was confirmed with the in-home visit. The repair was completed efficiently and completely. If there were an A+ rating....

Called Home Tech and left a message last night, they returned my call in the morning, and fixed the TV the same day. They also gave the TV a "tune up". It is brand new again.

He was very helpful and spent time researching my television to see if replacement parts could be found. There were none, so he looked into how to repair an old screen instead of replacing it, which quickly became prohibitively expensive and I chose not to spend the money.

We have used this company several times in the past both for repair and for new TV installations. Every time has been a positive experience. We will definitely call them again if we have the need.

Well. Recommended holding on to old lamp, in the event that it was not the cause of the problem. Offered 3 months return, if it proved not to be the needed part. But it fixed the problem.

Matt showed me that the problem is one of the mirrors in the TV and how I can clean this myself the next time.
