It was an awful experience. The only homes that we looked at were one my wife and I found online through the automated updates Edina Realty's system sent. When we would meet with her she was consistently 15 minutes late and would inevitably forgot some document or key code to get into the homes. She was very frank however - frank about the fact that we needed to hurry through the last few homes so she could get to her bridge game on time, which happened on more than one occasion. The kicker happened during the home inspection once we finally found a home. As part of the initial contract we negotiated for her to represent us, she was supposed to pay for a home inspector of our choosing. After we reminded her of that she agreed to pay for it, we set up a time to meet with her and the inspector to go through the house. Despite having been reminded of the inspection, she did not let the homeowners know we were coming and Hazelann no showed to the inspection, so I had to write the check for the inspection. I called here immediately afterwards and she apologized -- apparently her nail appointment was running a little long. She said if I wanted to drive over to the salon she would pay me back for the inspection. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. She was absolutely worthless. The only thing she was good for was to get on Edina Realty's listserve e-mail system. We found the home, I am an attorney so I read all the documents to make sense of them, etc. How she has made it 20 years or whatever in this business is beyond me. I bought a home that I am happy with, but I do not accredit much of that outcome to Hazelann. If I had not been under contract and would have had to deal with the headache of breaking the contract, she would definitely have been fired.

Hazelann did a great job of marketing and selling our house in a tough market. She was very professional, handled all our questions promptly, and took us through the process smoothly.
