Prompt, professional service since we bought home in 2017. Scott (owner) and Matt were not only very knowledgeable but a pleasure to work with. They explained thoroughly and patiently work that needed to be done. We would not call anyone else but them for Heating and Cooling needs. Remarkable company!

It went well. Needed a new capacitor which was replaced quickly, freon was checked, unit cleaned and when my AC turned on, Chris [I believe that was his name] made sure it started to cool in my home. Great to go from 85 degree heat all weekend to mid 70's. Did remind me though of homeless people and our veterans in extreme heat depending on the locations. Gratitude! Would definitely recommend this company. I'm an officer on the board of a HOA and it is always good to find excellent vendors.

When our AC stopped working, a neighbor recommended that we contact Edina Heating and Cooling. The very day I called, a technician came out to take a look at our unit. He was able to diagnose the problem. The next day he was able to provide costs for repair and replacement. We decided to have our older unit replaced. Within a week our new AC was installed! Scott and his team were amazing! They were very responsive, and their work was very thorough and professional. Their years of experience were quite evident!!!!!

Great. Noticed an issue with too much heat output in our upper floor. Placed a service request in the morning and by noon a technician was out and addressing the problem. He was able to diagnose and repair the issue in about an hour. He was very punctual and professional, and explained everything to me in easy to understand terms. Very pleased. *price was based on our home warranty plan deductible. Tech stated this issue would normally cost around $325-350.

They took my call (in person) and came out to my house within an hour. Very nice, professional and willing to explain what he was doing as long as I wanted to stand there. After running a few tests on my 24 year old furnace, he showed me the problem and was able to clean up the flame sensor and re install it. No parts needed! He did some safety checks and gave some recommendations. Great experience.

exhaust pipeI noticed the cover on the exhaust pipe was missing on the outside. The repair person climb up and placed a new cover on the exhaust pipe and check out the furnace performance.

A very satisfactory experience: the technician analyzed the problem, tried one possible solution (replacing the flame sensor), which did not fix the problem, and pursued a second solution (replacing the control module), which did fix the problem. He explained things well, was prompt and courteous, and got the work done in under one hour (he had the replacement parts with him).

We called Edina H and C because we had a home warranty that used their company. They came over to repair our furnace that stopped working on one of the coldest days of the year. They repaired the furnace in the afternoon. At that time, I also hired them to come back two days later to install a vent. Two hours after the repair, the air from the vents was still cold. I called and spoke to the technician who came back after an hour of "trying things" over the phone. This time he fixed the problem, but charged me $250 in emergency fees. I was too tired to argue, but since they had not notified me of the fee, and since the emergency visit was required only because THEY had missed a major problem during the first visit, I felt people should be aware of their unscrupulous practices. I might have let this go, but they proceeded to completely blow off the scheduled appointment to install the vent two days later. You are better off another company!

Very smooth. They mounted the heater on the ceiling, ran a gas line to it, ran electrical to it, installed on/off wall switch, installed thermostat and ran exhaust venting out the side of the garage. They arrived at 8 AM and were done by early to mid afternoon. Very friendly, nice guys. Great work, we're very happy with the work they did.

When our house started getting cold due to a furnace malfunction, we called Edina Heating and Cooling for an estimate to repair or replace. Scott and Duane came to our house the same day, a Saturday, and looked at the situation. Scott recommended replacing the furnace, since it was about 40 years old, but indicated we could just replace a couple of valves and see how long it would last. We decided to go forward with the replacement. Duane was able to replace the furnace within a week, removing the old furnace and expansion tank and installing a new furnace and expansion tank. He also installed two valves (our house has 4 zones and two of the zones had malfunctioning valves), and a new chimney liner. All the work was done as promised based on the proposal. Duane was very respectful of our house, keeping the areas clean and not tracking in dirt from the outside. Both Scott and Duane were professional at all times and very knowledgeable about boiler systems. I will definitely call them if I have any other problems.

Our old gas boiler stopped working because the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. I thought it was the sensor but I'm not going to mess around when natural gas is involved so I called the company my home warranty suggested. It was a Saturday and I had guests arriving shortly for a party with a very cold house. I was originally told when I called that someone would be by the next day but the repair guy called me again to say he would be right over, which was fantastic. He replaced the sensor quickly and the pilot light stayed lit when ignited so he left. 5 minutes after he was gone, the pilot light went out again. I quickly called the repair guy's cell and he turned around and came right back to check. When the furnace would actually turn on, the force of the air drawn to the burners would pull the pilot light away from the sensor causing it to go out. The repair guy adjusted the sensor position in the furnace and stayed to make sure that everything was copacetic before heading off. I was very pleased how quickly it was done. I paid my deductible for my home warranty which was $200.

Edina Heating was the third contractor that reviewed the problem with my central air conditioning. The first service person said there was a leak and the unit would have to be replaced, the second did not have the expertise to fix or diagnose the problem. Scott at Edina Heating had the correct tools (a freon Geiger counter) that identified the source of the leak. It ended up being a damaged external valve. Scott welded a new valve and the unit was then cooling great. A somewhat minor repair by a reputable company saved me significant replacement expense.

Furnace was making a metallic grating noise anytime the downstairs (dual zone) heater kicked on. My warranty company referred Edina Heating. I called Scott on a Friday afternoon. He returned my call within the hour. He was actually finishing a job in the neighborhood so he came right over to inspect the furnace. He found the problem. Informed us he would have the motor located and could install it on Monday. $100 deductible. One of his techs came on Monday, installed the new motor. Identified a clogged furnace humidifier drainage hose. Told my wife he could clean it out for an additional $85. Total was $185.

I called EHC in the morning and spoke with Scott. He was up front and said he was busy and wouldn't make it until between 2 and 4 pm. He asked if he should call before he comes over and I said yes. He called at approximately 10 mins to 2 and said he would be here within 20 minutes, which he was. He was very friendly and professional, not minding at all while I stood behind him for the first 10 minutes to watch and ask questions. He gave me an option on purchasing a higher quality ignitor, educating me on the specs of each. He was even willing to discuss the cost of installing a bathroom exhaust fan and the work that goes into it which I had not requested on the phone call. Overall, I was pleased with the service I received. I had a home warranty so the actual repair cost was around $183, and I paid a $100 deductible.

HE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND CAME RIGHT OUT. ANOTHER COMPANY CAME OUT AND TOLD US WE NEEDED A NEW AIR CONDITIONER. SCOTT TOOK THE TIME TO FIND THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT. HE IS VERY HONEST, VERY EXPERIENCED, AND I APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT HE WASN'T TRYING TO RIP ME OFF.
