It took a long time for them to come out, and then they had to come back to put the replacement part, and they had to order the part, and so it took a good month to get it repaired.

All seemed to go easily. The service arrived and found the problem quickly and replaced the small part within the hour. Since I was not there a bill was left and given to me later.
Here are the details of the bill:
- $25 for Relay Overload Assembly,
- $94.95 for a Diagnostic Fee,
- $82 for Service Labor Charges
TOTAL of $203.95
I called to pay and ask about the bill. I spoke to Randy (the service manager) about the diagnostic fee and the labor charge adding up to $176.95 for less than 1 hr of labor. He said that is the going rate. I asked how can he charge such a high rate for less than 1 hr of work. He said he uses codes for all service work and the relay has a $82 charge. That added to the other mandatory charge to come and do a diagnostic no matter if it takes 15 minutes.
I told Randy that I can't afford to use them and in full disclosure I purchase a full kitchen of appliances from them a number of years ago for a different home and next year I need to remodel my outdated and worn out kitchen. They were on my list of companies to purchase my new kitchen appliances. He told me and quot;he can't afford to have me as a customer since there is no way he can make money on a small service call of less than $176.95and quot;.
I highly recommend looking at other service companies and appliance dealers in the Twin Cities. The appliances might be well priced but the service is too high and they can't afford to come by and replace a small relay assembly (or maybe a light bulb) for less than $176.95.
I rated the professionalism at an and quot;Fand quot; because anyone who can't afford to service a customer for less than 1 hr for any less than $176.95 is not a service professional but a rip off artist. Also, who would say they can't afford me as a customer for a complete set of kitchen appliances?

They sell and service appliances. I purchased several large appliances from them. I have check out other places but keep going back to them because they are competitive. The service that they do is excellent! If there is a way they can help you over the phone they will. I would recommend them.

One of the stove tops, he fixed the burner but a light is always on - he said at the time he couldn't do anything about that. The other stove top, he fixed the burner but it broke after 2 weeks. On top of that the service person was rude and unpleasant.

They did a great job and the service was good. They did what they said they would and showed up on time. The service tech did a great job on the installation

It was a very personable place. They didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t want. They pointed out the positive and negative of several different models. They were going to try to deliver it today and hook it all up. They couldn’t guarantee it, but they said they will try to do it. It was just a neighborhood shop and we liked supporting our community business. They answered our questions and their quality was good. We got a very good deal there and we would use them again in future.

Very difficult experience. We contacted EP Appliance because they were listed as an authorized repair place for a Gagganau oven (we purchased home with oven already installed). Glass inside door had shattered. On first visit, tech was not prepared to protect wood floor in kitchen when removing glass, didn't have a shop vac or container to remove glass. We ended up covering the floor, providing container for glass removal and cleaned up the floor. Tech had to call Gaggenau to find out how to remove door from oven. Tech took apart oven door and said the wrong part had been ordered. Left oven door in pieces in our garage. Two weeks later with the correct piece, tech arrived and couldn't remember how to put door back together (this was a Friday afternoon). Took parts to shop and said would return first thing Monday morning, but forgot he was on vacation that week! Another tech came on Tuesday, but door was put together upside down. Also, second tech was abrupt, said he didn't know anything about Gaggenau ovens, swore while working in the kitchen. Just a bad experience all around for us. Now we have to wait for the first tech to get back from vacation next week to fix the upside down door. EP Appliance should not be listed as a place that can repair Gaggenau ovens and I'll send a complaint to the company about this as well.

I wanted a certain dishwasher and Eden Prairie Appliance offered the dishwasher at a lower price then competitors. The staff was also very helpful, and they were not to pushy.

I called at 10am and asked if someone could come that day. They didn't guarantee it, but instead said they would put a call out for a repair person who may have some time free up. Sure enough, he called and came over by noon. He was at my house for about 15 minutes.

I like Eden Prairie's prices. They sell products cheaper because customers order things and then change their mind or the product comes with a scratch from shipping or something else that's minimally wrong but drops the price. The salesman I worked with on these purchases was so accommodating. He didn't try to steer us to the most expensive purchases. Also, when there was a scratch or something we might not be happy with he pointed it out to us instead of trying to hide it. He was great.

Our temperature display had stopped working on our 2-year old fridge. The technician replaced the electronic board controlling it very quickly and it works fine again.

Visited several appliance stores including EP Appliance. They were the most helpful in selecting a dishwasher to meet my budget. The salesman was very knowledgeable. He arranged for installation and haul away.

They are really good. They are honest about the different appliances and how well that they do. They have all price ranges and find you the best deal in your price range. The sales people are knowledgeable.

Now two months later the vibrating/humming is as loud or louder than previously. When I called service at Eden Prairie Appliance, the person I spoke to said the microwave shouldn't be as loud as I claim it to be. He gave me some possible explanations. However, being the microwave is no longer under warranty, they aren't responsible, despite having been the ones who supposedly fixed it when it was under warranty. They said I should call Thermador and take it up with them.
