Mortgage Companies
I was in the process of refinancing my home with someone who was recommended to me. I started getting a bad feeling with the agent when the total amount of refinancing seemed to be higher than what we originally discussed. I decided not to close with that company and started the process of shopping around and educating myself. After talking to many agents and lenders I ended up with Alfredo Rodriguez at Clearwater Mortgage in Eden Prairie. From start to finish I believe it only took us 4 weeks and I saved myself around $5,700 ( between closing costs and the difference in my mortgage payment) by not going with the original company.
