CertaPro did a great job on the exterior painting of our home. Ben gave us and estimate that came in a lot lower than the other bids we received. Felix and his crew were fast, professional and did a really good job. Everyone was very responsive. Highly recommend!

Perfect from start to finish!

Work was done timely and neatly. They had to scrape the upper story more than planned as the previous painters had not done much, if any, scraping. When nearing completion of the project, I realized the garage doors were the wrong color. One of the workers got in the vehicle and went to the store to buy the additional paint needed and they stayed late to finish the job correctly.

Certa Pro was very professional from start to finish. They were very responsive with communications during the process, and scheduled and finished the job in a timely manner. Felix did an amazing job refinishing the wood door, which had some areas of deterioration from the morning sun. It looks new again! Very happy with this company, and would highly recommend!

In June of this year CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro was hired to paint a small bedroom in our home, to include removal of the “popcorn” textured ceiling and installation of a “knockdown” textured ceiling in its place. A crew of two arrived on June 20th and hence began a long list of issues regarding this project to include: • It was clear upon the crew’s arrival that they had no clue what was expected of them. When told the job was to paint walls and redo the ceiling they expressed confusion. They didn’t even have paint with them. They needed to wait for the salesman /project manager to show up and explain things. • The crew appeared to have no knowledge of “knockdown” ceilings and, indeed, consulted YouTube videos on their phones as a means of figuring things out. • The crew used our bathtub for disposal of the “popcorn” ceiling debris, causing a backup into the toilet, despite the contractor’s assurance that their crews would clean up properly. They also “borrowed” our vacuum cleaner (as well as several trash bags) and left it stuffed and plugged with debris. Our trash can was also packed with plastic sheeting that should have been removed at the completion of the project. • The crew spray painted one coat, not the two promised and called for in the contract. • The crew painted over all the electrical outlets and wall switches rather than taping them off. • Prep work was woefully inadequate with many areas in need of spackling ignored. • Paint was sprayed and smeared on much of the woodwork. • There was no distinct delineation between the walls and ceiling. Very sloppy painting. • The “knockdown” ceiling the crew installed bore no resemblance to the example we had been shown. • Taping and protective covering was also woefully inadequate. In the course of removing the original ceiling a great deal of material was dislodged and a huge mess was created. The crew failed to properly cover a sofa that was in the room resulting in the sofa being literally covered with hundreds of spots of ceiling material and, as it turns out, paint. The crew spent much time feverously attempting to remove the debris with damp rags, to no avail. The above list of issues is by no means complete. Suffice to say that this project was a complete and utter disaster. The incompetence of the crew that was sent out to perform the contract can only be described as stunning. Even the salesman/project manager and company owners were appalled at the work performed and openly stated so. The salesman/project manager subsequently marked over fifty areas of concern with red Post-it stickers. He would have marked more had he not run out of stickers. On August 10/11, seven and a half weeks later (!), CertaPro returned with two different crews and, finally, did an adequate job on the walls and ceiling. The company owner replaced the electrical outlets (but not the switch) that had been painted over and the salesman/project manager spent a couple of hours cleaning up the woodwork. CertaPro also returned our payment check at that time in consideration of our inconvenience as well as their astonishment and dismay that they had performed so poorly. Shortly after the initial attempt at providing quality work CertaPro hired and sent a professional cleaner, twice, in an attempt to rectify the damage done to our sofa. Both of these attempts failed to remove much of the ground in debris and paint. The end result is that the sofa is permanently damaged and in need of new covering. There can be no question that CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro is responsible for the unresolved damage to our property. CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro has, indeed, acknowledged responsibility for the destruction of our sofa and has stated clearly that they would “take care of” the problem by means of arranging to have the sofa reupholstered. To date that promise has not been fulfilled. The original project could have been accomplished on June 20th by a crew performing to the set of professional standards the contractor claims to employ. Instead, two and a half months later, we have the remaining problem as an unresolved issue. We respectfully ask only that CertaPro Painters do what they said they were going to do and compensate us for our loss in a much more timely fashion. CertaPro Painters Southwest Metro claims to be a professional business which deals with their customers in an honest, fair and ethical manner. They now have an opportunity to demonstrate that claim rather than just talk about it. Their “100% Satisfaction Guarantee” should not ring hollow.

I was prepared to rip drywall down to the studs as it was in such bad shape from a previous companies attempt to remove wallpaper, mud, and repaint. Fortunately before doing so, I called CertaPro, their team came in and assured me they could repair the walls. I will admit to being skeptical but took a chance as they offered 100 % satisfaction. The good news is I was surprised for a number of reasons, they arrived ON TIME, protected the area, did a outstanding job on fixing and painting the walls, and the cleanup exceeded my expectations . In short 100 % satisfaction. To me the "key" in rating any service is "would I hire them again" and the answer for CertaPro is a resounding yes. Can't say enough kind things about this team, from the office staff to the paining crew. Top notch!

The experience was great, starting from the initial meeting and quote preparation with the estimator, who is an experienced former general contractor. The free color consultation was key to making the kitchen look great -- we went with the recommended color instead of what we had originally picked out. We've had to pay for independent color consultations for past paint jobs from other companies -- it's great to have this service included with CertaPro. The estimator and painting crew worked with the owners and the paint shop to make sure the right priming product was used on the ceramic tile before painting. The two-man painting crew did a great job, and even removed the old brass hinges on the doors and replaced them with the new satin nickel hinges that I bought separately to match the cabinet hardware. They weren't afraid to use a lot of plastic sheeting and heavy paper floor protection to keep the rest of the house as clean as possible. The owners and the estimator stopped by during and after the actual painting process to see how it was going and if we were satisfied (we were).

Angel and his crew were fabulous to work with on site! They were very respectful and extremely careful. From the minute he walked in with his crew, I knew we were in good hands. Every part of our flooring and furniture was protected. These guys really are professionals. They completed our very large project in only two days! I truly enjoyed working with everyone on staff including Tammy, Matt and Sara. Sara was so invested and passionate about our project and helped us make the perfect color choices! We would never have been so happy with our home without Sara's input and ongoing support. For anyone who wants to truly LOVE the color choices in their home, you HAVE to go with CertaPro painters. This company sincerely cares about their customers and you won't be disappointed!

I went with CertaPro because I happened to know the owner of the service. They came out and power washed one day and prepped it and came back the next and painted it. They came back in the evening and we did a walk around to make sure that everything was the way I wanted it. They did a couple of touch-ups for me and then they called the next day to see if I was happy with it. They had a sub-contractor that did it, but they followed through. They're very good. They're a very nice group of people to work with. I had set a budget and the pricing was within my budget. So I didn't bother to try to contact anybody else.

I was able to get an estimate within 24 hours of my initial call, and the work was scheduled for the following week. The work was completed on time and as promised. The owners obviously care very much about customer satisfaction and the quality of the work done. This is the second time we have used them, and will definitely hire them again when we need painting in the future.
