Carpet Installation
I went to Ahrendt Carpet to select carpet for my stairs. I took home several samples so that I could evaluate and live with them in my home. Once I had selected the carpet, Charles Selander came out himself to measure. The installer (who doesn't do a lot of installations anymore but who Mr. Selander views as an artist at doing stairs and pattern matching) came as scheduled and did a fine job of installing the runner. Mr. Selander had forgotten to charge me for matching the pattern and mitering one end of the carpet on the landing. The installer asked what he should do and I said it would be worth the additional $60 to get it right. I am very happy with the result.
