Advantech was a nightmare to work with. First of all, they did not sand or clean the new doors before applying stain and urethane. The doors looked terrible. It took weeks for them to repair the finish work to an acceptable level. Some of the doors were bi-fold doors that hung from tracks. Apparently, they used a low quality track because the doors started to fall off of their tracks within days of their installation. Over a period of several months, they did reinstall the proper track on some of the doors but have not yet finished the job. The new track left a 2" gap between the top of the doors and and the moulding. They did finally install additional moulding on a few of the doors, but again, the remaining doors remain unfinished. It has now been well over a year since they started the job and it remains unfinished. My calls to the company remain unanswered. It's obvious they do not plan on finishing the job. I would advise anyone to stay away from Advantech. Find a reputable contractor who stands behind their work.
