This team was impressive!
Had never done business with Superior before, was looking for quality work close to home, with some transportation options, and that was a State Farm authorized repair facility - to repair front end damage following a collision with my 2005 Ford Escape.
From the very first call this team was all about customer service and making everything as simple and efficient as possible. They made an assessment of the visible damages and talked of exactly what steps would be taken to determine any damage that may not be visible from the outside. Working out the schedule for dropping off the vehicle, they again took that extra step in photographing the vehicle so they could get a jump start on ordering the parts that obviously were going to need to be replaced. They were able to move the drop off day a couple of days, thinking that I was going to be able to be back in my car within a week or less. They set up my rental car to pick me up the morning I dropped off the car.
They phoned each evening for the first 2 days to provide updates, and there was some under the hood damage that was not visible, and they really looked at everything that might have been out of whack because of the accident. I asked if they could also do a routine oil change, which they did (at a very reasonable price) On the morning of the 4th day, got the call that my car would be ready that afternoon. I was so very happy with this news.
When I arrived to pick it up, it looked like a brand new car. Not sure what they used to clean the windows but they have never been that clean. They apparently vacuumed too - as there was not a spec of dust in the interior. With the exception of a few waves and scratches on the license plate, you would never know it had been in an accident.
This team was extremely efficient, professional, and very personable. Their facilities were clean, with a nice waiting area with a TV and an area off of that that was kind of a work space. The repair team did a phenomenal job!
Will happily recommend them to friends and family, and plan to return for basic care and maintenance. Superior Service Center has a new and happy customer!!! Great job!
I said go ahead and fix them. Later on they called and said it needed a cylinder gasket that would cost $3500.
They lowered the estimate to $2700, which was lower than other places I checked.
I know the gasket probably was ready to go, I just didn't expect it.

I can't explain how much I appreciate their excellent service and hospitality. I appreciated the expedient service during the time when they were backed up with many storm related claim issues. As I was one in an accident with my jeep during the awful snow storm in February.
I will refer all my friends to "Superior Service Center" for any mechanical or body work.
Because of the awesome service I will be taking my vehicles to their store for oil changes.

They arranged a rental car that was delivered to me there and that I could drop off there - very convenient. They completed the work quickly, and did a really great job. You can't tell that anything was ever damaged. I found them easy to deal with and willing to take my input on what I did and did not want done. I would definitely use them again.
When I arrived, 2 people told me the standard inspection doesn't include checking the battery unless it is specifically requested. Because the shop was busy, I had to leave the car for testing.
They called me mid-morning to say the battery was weak, and I gave the go ahead to replace it. While waiting at home, I checked the online coupon and saw that it specifically states that "Test battery and charging system" IS part of the inspection.
When I picked up my car, I showed them the coupon, and said I had given it to the receptionist when I brought my car in for the inspection. They apologized profusely and said they would look into what happened.
Wait; there's more. While filing the invoice for the replacement battery, I looked more closely at the inspection invoice. It said that the battery was OK. As I see it, that means one of these situations probably occurred: (1) The mechanic did NOT test the battery, but said they did, OR (2) the mechanic did test the battery, but did it incorrectly. Neither of those is acceptable.
I reported the situation to management more than a month ago, but never got a reply.
I've used SSC in the past to service my old Ford Escort and been very pleased. Now, however, I question whether they're up-to-date on newer cars. I WON'T be going back to find out.
