I cannot overemphasize how happy we were with his services. He took extensive notes upon our initial consult and was very prompt to reconfirm dates and provide us with detailed billing. He is obviously an animal lover as our 3 cats were smitten from the first meeting and they obviously knew they were in good hands and could be trusted.  :)

I actually found Four Season Pet on Angie's list. Read all the reviews in detail and then called to ask if Steve could come for a visit to meet our two dogs. Steve was delightful! We enjoyed him very much and our two Dachshunds were calm around him, which for a first time meet and greet, is unusual for the dogs. We discussed and established a first time period for Steve to care for the boys in his home. Of course, I asked if it would be okay for me to see Steve's home. He was very kind about the request. Of course, when we arrived at his home it was nothing short of fabulous. That would be inside and out. WISHBONE, the four legged man of the house met our boys at the door. Our Chocolate Dachshund, Charlie, was thrilled and happy to begin playing immediately. The boys stayed for thirteen days. We received great pictures the entire time we were gone. Blue is sixteen and truly needs care. He came home happy and obviously well cared for. Charlie was not thrilled about coming home with us. Think of a message balloon over his head, " Mom, unless WISHBONE in coming home with us, I think I'll stay." Steve runs a tight ship. The boys were very well cared for during their stay. Treats of fruit and vegetables were given at the right times and of course, pills were administered correctly. How do I know? Blue would have been at the veterinary practice. He's sixteen. He has twenty three food allergies, is on a low fat diet and has an eye problem. If he doesn't get his pills and the correct food, he can become very sick quickly. Our boys came home happy and very well cared for. Currently, we have time booked with Steven and HIS family, for the next nine months. It's difficult for me to express how fortunate we feel to have found Steve and his services. Our four legged kids are family to us. They have traveled with us for years. Now, in their senior years, it's just easier for them to nest in a stable environment, without the rigors of the road. You might be thinking, "Why not take them to a boarding kennel?" Not a chance. Keep in mind, no matter how great the place looks and may be, every PERSON goes home at night. I just won't risk the lack of care. With Steve, I know our guys will be taken care of 24/7. Bottom line? I highly recommend Four Season Pet care. They cover all of the needs we need for our boys.

Our cats get very nervous when transported outside of the home, so when we were going to go on an extended vacation, it made more sense to have someone come to the house instead.  A couple weeks before we left, one of our cats was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (congestive heart failure), requiring multiple medications twice per day.  With his extensive background in pet sitting, Steve had absolutely no problem administering his medication.  In addition, we received pictures a few different times via text message and we were always able to communicate our concerns.  Since the diagnosis was recent and right before we were going to be gone for an extended period, it was a great comfort to know someone of Steve's experience would be there to give our cat the medication that he needed.

Steve was very professional and knowing that he was there while we were away definitely put our minds at ease.

As an added bonus, Steve was able to water our outside plants and bring in any mail / packages that we received while away.

Steve is fantastic.  He came by the house before our trip to meet us and the cats.  While we were gone, he sent us a few text messages with pictures which we absolutely loved.  Both of our girls need a lot of attention.  When we got home I could tell Steve had done a wonderful job.  The cat area was clean and our cats didn't seem like they had been starved for attention.  He went above and beyond by shoveling when there was a snow storm and he left the house in great order.  We feel incredibly lucky to have found Steve!

Steve did a great job from the time of the initial in home consult to the final key return. He was very thorough in the initial walk through, offering to bring our mail in, shovel our sidewalk, and regularly open and close the blinds. While we were away he sent us an initial text message letting us know that the pets were alright and everything was going smoothly. He spent about 20-30 minutes with the pets daily and cleaned the litter box everyday. He even tidied up the guinea pig tank. When we returned home everything was as we had left it and the pets were happy and healthy! Was definitely worth the money spent for the peace of mind, would recommend and use again.

For the longest time our dog Holly got to come to work with me. When my new job wouldn't let that trend continue, we were anxious about what to do for our, admittedly pampered, furry friend.
Enter Steve at Four Seasons!
Prior to starting the dog walking services, Steve was thorough. He came out to our place to meet Holly, get acquainted, and get the lay of the land. I was impressed that he's a self-contained dog walking pro - all you need to provide is a dog who needs a walk!
Now during the day Holly gets a fun chance to stretch her legs, get outside, and play. This break in the day keeps her out of trouble later! Every now and then he'll send a picture of the fun!
Steve doesn't just focus on Holly either - he keeps his eyes peeled for odd things around our place. Numerous times he's texted to say ask if I meant to leave a door open or a light on.
Finally, he's a great communicator through whatever means you prefer. He's quick to confirm schedule changes and provide updates. I prefer email and text, and that's how I get updates. It's amazing.
It's great to have peace of mind that our dog is happy, and our home is safe! I'd recommend Four Seasons to anybody - it's way more professional, secure, reliable, and legit than giving a neighbor kid a couple bucks and a key.

He was wonderful! So attentive to details, and we came home to find our cat very happy! I love that he texted when he got there on the first day and when he made his last visit. We definitely plan to call him again!!

It was June 27th, 2015 and I desperately needed to find a cat sitter for the 4th of July weekend.  I contacted a few pet sitting companies and was relieved and incredibly grateful when Steve of Four Seasons Pet Care went out of his way to fit me in to his busy holiday weekend schedule.
Working with Steve to set the visit schedule was a dream.  I am sure I was a pain to deal with; I had to adjust the visit schedule, tried to orchestrate an overly complicated house key ?drop off? scenario, and then kept him waiting for the code to a lockbox (the solution to my overly complicated ?drop off? scenario).  Steve was patient and responsive through all of this (something that even my family would have a hard time tolerating).
I received text messages during each visit, and even received pictures!  The kitties looked happy and healthy.  Usually after a long absence, the kitties greet me like I'm the Beetles and follow me around the house.  This time I was still greeted like I was the Beetles, but the kitties seemed much less starved for attention.
Steve went above and beyond the tangible services pet sitters offer with his prompt responsiveness, professional attitude, and genuine interest in my cats' welfare.  I will continue to work with Four Seasons Pet Care as long as I am in the area.

Since signing in with Four Seasons Pet Care, we have not once had to worry about leaving our dog home for the day while we work. Steve has not only been 100% reliable, but has also gone above and beyond numerous times to help us out. He's compassionate, flexible and truly loves both his profession as well as his furry clients. Steve is an excellent communicator, trustworthy and mature...we wholeheartedly recommend Four Seasons! A+++

Checked 3 times over 5 days on my cat to see that she had water and food as well as a clean litter box and pee pads. He also watered my plants and picked up the newspaper from the front lawn. He charged $25/day plus tax. 
He sent emails on the status of my cat. We had hoped she would let him take a picture but she was too shy.
We had a little bit of miscommunication on the return of the keys. I should have discussed this when he came to check out the assignment.

We have used Four Seasons several times now to watch our cat, Clark, while we have been out of town.  Whether it's for a short weekend away or a long vacation abroad, we feel comfortable and confident that Steve will do an amazing job.  Steve is professional and dedicated to truly taking care of the animals he sits.  We never have to worry about Clark while we're away.  
And to truly put our minds at ease, upon the first and last visit, Steve sends us text messages updating us on how Clark is doing along with photos.
We couldn't be happier with the service Steve provides for us.  If you are looking for someone to watch your beloved pet while you're away, look no further.

Steve has just been exceptional since day on and we're into week 4 with his providing service.  Chloe has suffered a traumatic event two weeks before Steve started where the contracted pet care taker decided not to show up and perform any services due to her commitment with a book fair. When I arrived on Friday morning from my trip I found Chloe who is an animal rescue feline age 12 in my bedroom crying and carrying on.  I initially thought it was because of my absence but her unsettling behavior led me to follow her where I found in horror no food or water and the spoonful of water found was dark and nasty.  She had been ignored and not seen after except for the house caretaker when he came by on Tuesday. There was no access to water, she was dehydrated and a call to the U of M shared to see if she could drink and if not then to bring her in emergently for hydration and kidney assessment.  Fortunately two bowls of water later (and she is not diabetic) she begin to hydrate though this kept on for he next 12 hours. Her need to be within close proximity to me was far greater then normal and the vet shared this was because of the abandonment. I confronted the care taker who was paid in advance who lied about coming (always good to have a nanny cam) eventually getting caught in her own lie of the number of days she was not around.  Angie's list helped me find Steve who came to meet with us where an instant bond developed between the two. Subsequent days with my return to the road Steve made sure to send status reports twice daily and pictures. This time on my return home I was greeted with just a hello from Chloe before she returned to her nap. Anyone who knows their animals know when they have been seen and taken care of because our coming home is a non issue outside of them wanting to be with you and love you.  Steve is great and his desire to see after Chloe's needs twice daily eliminates my concern allowing me to focus on my work.  I would hands down recommend Steve to anyone needing care and assistance for their 4 legged buddies.  He will love them and make them feel number one. Chloe who is a loner and not tolerant of anyone adores Steve and you will too.

Steve was fantastic. He kept us informed of how our animals were doing with pics and texts. We have one cat who takes a lot of medication, and Steve took the time to come over to see how our cat takes his meds before we left.  The cats made a mess with the litter and tracked it around the house. Even though never asked, Steve cleaned it up so we wouldn't have to upon our return.
Steve did a phenomenal job overall.Highly recommended, nice guy who clearly loves animals.

Steven did all of the above, plus took time to get to know the cats.  He emailed us photos of the cats and a daily update.  He also sent us an email concerning the food supply.  When we got home, there were no empty food cans or dirty spoons or bowls in sight.  Everything cat must have been bagged and taken to the trash can in the alley.  There was food  and water in the bowls.  Our 3 cats were glad to see us, but did not seem scared or otherwise disturbed.  Steven had emailed us after his last visit on the morning of the 13th.  We emailed him that we were on our way home. 
On top of everything else, he brought in the newspapers and the mail.
We have already made reservations with Steven for later this summer. 
I am cat crazy and it was very difficult for me to leave my cats.  I have 2 who are 16 and going through kidney failure.  Although the vet says they are not actively dying, I still am reluctant to leave them for any length of days.  However, once I met Steven and we talked I felt I could rely on him to provide whatever needed to be done. The cats were in the hands of someone who really cared

For my two week trip I searched Angie's list for a pet sitter as a less expensive alternative to boarding.  I have senior dogs with high needs (one is on meds and is oh-so-high strung; the other is a recent rescue that I didn't want to think was being given up again) and a cat who loves running the place.  I contacted Steve at Four Seasons; I could tell from the first call that this guy loves all pet children.  The initial meeting with my pets sealed the deal as he was responsive to them and asked about their quirks, routine and let them get to know him by getting on their level.  Kinda of funny to see tall Steve kneel to greet 10lb dogs. While on vacation/s Steve sent emails with status updates which was appreciated and allowed me to focus on vacation knowing they were well taken care of.  For all future vacations, Steve/Four Seasons is our sitter!
One more thing...he loves plant children, too, and watered them.  A nice touch.

Steve was prompt and professional for our "meet-and-greet," and was very responsive to last-minute e-mails.  Judging by how content our cats were and how clean the litterbox was when we returned home, he took great care of them in our absence.

Everything went great. Both my dog and cat loved Steve when he came to our house for a "meet and greet." Cat was not at all grumpy when we returned--which is a change from when we have used other pet sitters in the past. She clearly had gotten some high-quality TLC while we were gone. Dog was also fine, not over-tired as he sometimes is when he boards at his daycare. We'll definitely be using Four Seasons Pet Care from here on out. And believe me, I am very fussy when it comes to my pets!
