Big project BIG mistake! We trusted Behr Flooring with all our carpet purchases and installation for a 5800 square foot executive home. BIG mistake! This was part of a whole house remodel and included carpet in 3 bedrooms, huge hallway, family room, living room, dining room and two sets of stairs on three levels of the house. Few years later, our executive home looks like giant Shar Pei puppy and I'm disgusted with the result! The carpet on the stairs is literally sliding downhill and the carpet in the hall is so badly wrinkled it has become a tripping hazard. As the Behr team left my home they told me it would stretch a bit - it did, and now it's an unsafe and embarrassing mess. We've had two competitors in to assess the issues and they were both shocked by the ineptitude and incompetence of the installer. Stairways were not cut and tucked or tacked in properly, the carpet was not stretched correctly, seams where not cut in straight and are now visible due to the terrible wrinkling. There is no excuse for this as this was top of the line carpet that is now being ruined by the uneven wear and tear. To add insult to injury we now have another 800.00 bill to try, and I say TRY to fix the disaster Behr Flooring left me with. We've had good carpet in place for more than 10 years and it looks as good as the day it was installed (not by Behr). Carpet doesn't want to do this. Home owners don't cause carpet to do this. A crappy business man that hires incompetent installers creates this kind of mess. Buyers beware of this company.

"Good Afternoon [Member Name Removed], First off, an apologize is due for the late delay to your review, we were not notified that a review was left and just saw this today (2.19.19). We will be looking into this to make sure that any future reviews notify us. Second, I would like to apologize for the difficulty you are having with your 2,634sf carpet (total) that was installed in August 2014 and October 2016. Thirdly, it is unfortunate that this is the first time Behr's USA Flooring has heard of any issues. Looking into our records, we have no notes of you emailing in requesting a re-stretch. Our business backs our workmanship 100% and the carpet you purchased comes with a seven year full installation warranty. If we would have known that there was such an issue, we would have been out to your home to repair any issues AND file any manufacturer claims that would need to be made; as your carpet is backed with a manufacturer warranty through our business. Without being notified of any issues, there is absolutely no way for us to help your flooring situation. It is unfortunate to say that we are disheartened to hear about your experience with us via Angie's List and to not be given an opportunity to rectify the issue first, as again, we cannot go through the steps in either repairing or filing a manufacturer claim that we are not aware of. Please give our office a call, as we look forward to assessing and fixing whatever may be going on with your carpet and taking the appropriate steps in rectifying your flooring issue. I would like to make a note, that since we do not manufacture the carpet we need to figure out if it is a mill problem or installation issue. It is always easy to say that when someone sees ripples in carpet that it is a labor issue, but it very well could be a mill and backing problem and that is what needs to be figured out and we are happy to do so.
