Only thing they didn't cover with me was once the switch was removed, the computer board got wet and was tripping the GFCI circuit breaker. This was remedied by drying out the board with a hair drier.

In July of 2009, when my wife scalded her foot stepping in, we realized our Arctic Spa hot tub overheated because of a faulty heater shut-off. Due to the overheating, our tub's water jetting system experienced a catastrophic failure that cannot be fixed. The Arctic Spa technician, after three months of trying to fix our tub, finally admitted that ?they had a similar problem with another tub and the only solution was full replacement." After four weeks of subsequently trying to contact the owner about replacing our tub, I was told (rudely, I might add) that the manufacturer in Canada has been unresponsive to their requests and that I should contact them directly. I then spoke to Blue Falls Manufacturing in Canada and they told me that Midwest Water Specialty, Inc, the parent company of Arctic Spas Midwest, has neither sent them any paperwork nor contacted them pertaining to the leaking of our jetting system. In fact, the only warranty request they have received as of 10/20/09 was for our heater board replacement from July 2009. Since they have no paperwork from Midwest Water Specialty, Inc, they will not be taking any action on the replacement of the tub due to Midwest Water Specialty, Inc's failure to follow proper procedure when documenting warranty work. Since we have been without our hottub for nearly 3.5 months already and winter will arrive shortly, our only solution to ensure we have a hottub throughout the colder months was to purchase a new hottub to replace our Artic Spa tub. The Arctic Spa tub we purchased in the spring of 2006 cost $10,000.00. The main reason we purchased this particular tub was the 5-year warranty that came with it. We were concerned about long-term maintenance and were assured without doubt that Midwest Water Specialty, Inc, the parent company of Arctic Spas Midwest, would stand behind their warranty and resolve any issues that might arise. Over the last three years, we have had to replace one motor, three jetting systems, and all of the water jets; not including this current situation.
