The price was pretty reasonable. My wife looked them up on Angie's List but I had to ask around. Other people had suggested them too and they came highly recommended. The floors are beautiful and they really did a good job. There was a big repair that was upstairs and it was covered up by the carpet. It was blasted in and we can hardly tell. They showed up when they said they would. I have two other small rooms that I'm going to have redone and I'll give them a call when that time comes.

We bought a house that had carpeting on the second floor, which we
didn't want. That was ripped up and Twin Ports Flooring finished the
floors for us. The whole thing was done in two days and they were very
professional. It looked great when they finished. We were very happy.

Really went out of their way to protect the rest of the house from dust. Floors look great...my husband thought the finish looked a little streaked but I think it looks really good.

Working with Bryan was fantastic. He was flexible, professional, and very conscientious. My floors look amazing!
I did an extensive remodel on my 1,600 sq ft foot home and when the project started to run two weeks off schedule, my original flooring contractor had to bale on me because he was too booked on jobs. He recommended Bryan to me and
said he did great work. I call Bryan for an estimate on a Friday and he was there the next morning to do a walk through. He did a thorough (and itemized) estimate and told me what to expect regarding trimwork, dust, and time frames. After working with multiple contractors on the project, it was refreshing to have someone that was upfront and realistic. Most of all, Bryan was extremely flexible. In trying to move in before the start of the school year, he offered to work in tandem with my interior painters. Despite them not meeting their deadline, Bryan adjusted his schedule to help me make mine. His crew worked nights, weekends, and whatever it took. When he said he would be there, he was there. After the job was done, he came back and even did some extras - a custom wood transition trip between the living room and dinging room (no charge) and hung all the doors throughout the house.
Most of all, when I show the "Before" and "After" pictures of my house, my floors are the first thing people comment on. They look amazing, we couldn't be happier! I highly recommend.

The floors look wonderful, and the stain nicely matches the adjacent hardwood floors that we did not have refinished. There are a few tiny bits of grit trapped below the sealing coats, but nothing devastating or even all that frustrating. (We haven't even contact Twin Ports about the grit. If it were more wide-spread or noticeable, we would have contacted them and I am confident they would come out and fix things up.) Otherwise the job turned out wonderfully, and at a reasonable price. Brian was great to work with, and his team got the job done well ahead of schedule. If and when we need flooring work done in the future, we will be calling upon Twin Ports.

See above. One thing I should add: to save a little money, we removed the carpeting, tack strips, and padding ourselves a few days before the work got started. The resulting underlayment was uneven and I pointed that out to Brian when he came to start the work. No problem. They used a grinder to smooth out and even out the subfloor.

It amazes us that we cannot see any difference between the floor that was already there and the new flooring they put in. Just excellent work!

We hired Brian to replace some wood flooring that had water damage. In the process we discovered that the floor had been discontinued so Brian had to piece some old samples that could be found from a dealer in Mpls, which was not a perfect match. He was wonderful about coming to the house many times to look at the situation. He would come promptly and give us his opinions and recommendations. He came cheerfully and was a great communicator. They did a fabulous job matching and no one would ever know there had been any work done. I highly recommend him! And just a Nice Guy!!!

I called on a Friday afternoon and he came over the next day to take a look at the room I wanted to have the floor refinished in. I had removed carpet from the room and needed quarter round as well. He estimated that he would be able to do the job in about 3 weeks or sooner, since it was only one room. That was better timing than I got from anyone else I had called. The following Monday (2 days later) he called me as I was driving to work and said he had a cancellation and asked if I wanted him to start refinishing the floor that day. I was thrilled, especially since I was moving in to the house the following Friday. He did a beautiful job and uses varnish that doesn't smell toxic for days. I was able to move furniture in to that room at the end of the week. I would definitely recommend Twin Ports Flooring.
