Schemmer's Cleaning Service started in Two Harbors, Minnesota and has been a family affair since 1978. Owned and operated by the Schemmer Family. The service was okay. I have used them twice. The first time was excellent and the second time was only okay. What stood out the first time was their willingness to try to answer questions about certain chemicals in the cleaning device. I did not compare their pricing. If I had to use them again in the future I would ask them about the chemical or I would ask them to use new rinsing water or wipe the baseboards or something.

That time I would not recommend them because they left white residue all over my baseboards. I did not compare their pricing. When I called the next week to tell them I'd been sick and unable to prep the house for the cleaning job, they quickly offered to reschedule.
On the date of service, I left a key for the crew as prearranged, due to my being at work. I have no reason to think that they did not arrive at the scheduled time. I arrived home to wonderfully clean carpets. I noticed a couple of details that I had discussed with Sam that had not been completed. Sam called me the following day to ask how I felt about their service; when I told him about these minor missed details, he carefully noted them for follow up with his crew and, without a request from me, offered a discounted invoice. I really appreciated that. It's clear that this company knows that it's best to retain customers than to troll for new ones. If I need future cleaning, I know that I'll be a repeat customer of Schemmer's, and I would endorse them to others.
They did an excellent job even removing stains left from a previous cleaning. They were pleasant, and did the job very efficiently.
I was very pleased with the work and will call them again.

This is the second time I have used Schemmer"s Cleaning Service, and I will absolutely call them again the next time I need my carpet cleaned.
