Qwic Electric

While I do most of the repair work around our house, I do not do electricity.  Therefore, when a baseboard heater stopped working and a light switch needed replacing, I turned to Angie's List for electricians.  I called Qwic, spoke with John immediately and we scheduled a time.  He showed up on time (despite some difficulty finding our house out in the country) and the work was done within an hour.

What I appreciated most was he took the time to examine (and explain!) issues with our circuit box and the challenges of upgrading to a larger system.  He and his assistant were professional, relaxed and efficient.

I have no complaints whatsoever.

John located the problem and had it fixed in about 15 minutes.  We had a wire break in an electrical box in our bedroom ceiling.  John offerred to spend the next 45 minutes (since his initial service call charge includes up to 1 hour of service) helping me finish installing a ceiling fan and fix a couple of other minor electrical issues.  We would hire John again.

Everything was taken care of in about an hour. They took 3 days to get to us but told us up front that it would be 3 days before they could get to us, so I guess that was fine. If we had been in a hurry we could have called someone else. They took time to explain everything to my husband, but were nearly done when I got home.
